📝 Personal experience
Fulong Station is located in Gongliao District, New Taipei City. It is a third-class station on the Taiwan Railway Yilan Line. It was opened on December 1, 1924. It was originally named "Aodi Parking Lot" and was changed to its current name in 1952. The station building was rebuilt in 2005, combining the Song-style station name with local style to create a unique look.
The station has two island platforms, and train approach warning lights were added in 2009 to improve passenger safety.
Fulong Station is close to the famous Fulong Beach, which attracts a large number of tourists every year to play in the water, participate in music festivals and other activities. In addition, there are many shops selling "Fulong Bento" around the station, providing tourists with the opportunity to taste local delicacies.
The station is also one of the starting points for the Old Caoling Tunnel Bicycle Trail, which is about 10 kilometers long and passes by attractions such as Fulong Beach and Sandiao Cape. It is suitable for travelers who love cycling and natural scenery.
