Meet new friends at Guimen and hike the Genglou Ancient Path!
Guimen Mountain was formerly known as Lumen Mountain, where ancient trees towered and deer roamed. Zhu Xi, a great Confucian scholar, once lectured at Lumen Academy and inscribed the words "Guimen" on the north gate. Later, people changed Lumen to Guimen.
The Genglou Ancient Path connects Nanshan Lake and Lumen Academy. Walking on the ancient path, the rustling of fallen leaves seems to be the whisper of history.
