You can see both the Acropolis and the Aegean Sea from here, and the view is absolutely stunning. It's conveniently situated between downtown Athens and the Athenian Riviera, making sightseeing very easy. ✔️ Rooms: The rooms are clean and elegantly decorated, with particularly beautiful marble bathrooms. They are spacious and comfortable, allowing for a truly relaxing stay throughout the trip. ✔️ Amenities: The rooftop infinity pool is a work of art. Swimming with a direct view of the Acropolis felt incredibly luxurious. The fitness center and spa are also well-equipped, perfect for some relaxation. ✔️ Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was incredibly diverse! From traditional Greek dishes to fresh fruits and freshly baked bread, there was something for everyone. The yogurt and honey combination was especially delicious, providing a hearty start to each morning. ✔️ Service: The staff were very friendly and quick to address any requests, making the stay extremely comfortable. Their attentive care made for a truly satisfying experience. The Grand Hyatt Athens was the perfect choice for our trip to Greece, with its stunning views, excellent facilities, superb service, and delicious breakfast. Grand Hyatt is currently renovating a building next to it. If you check in and they put you in a brand new building, it might be noisy during the day. - The room was very modern and had bathrobes and slippers in the bathroom. The shampoo is Frederick Malle eau de Magnolia. I prefer this taste, although I don’t use FM’s stuff. - The minibar in the room has very few items, but when you turn on the TV there is a big menu, and ordering room service is very nice. - There is a Bluetooth speaker in the room, which can be paired with your phone so you can listen to it while taking a shower. - There is a breakfast restaurant and a swimming pool on the top floor, but I don’t recommend lying there all day because the wine order is slow and the staff don’t like to come out to ask everyone what they want to drink. - And there are not many beds, the sun is shining directly, although you can open an umbrella, but it won't be much better. So I recommend going to their outdoor swimming pool on the first floor, where there are much fewer people, no sun, and there is a small bar right next to it, with much better service. - The gym is small, but it is more than enough for aerobics. In Athens, everyone lives in Hotel Street because it only takes about 10 minutes to take a taxi to the busiest street. Taxi fares are less than €10. Remember to agree on the price before getting on the bus, and ask clearly if this is the price for these people, otherwise you will be taken on board.
