China's Most Magical Ancient Bridge: Burning Bridges
In the ancient city of Chaozhou, there is a bridge with a thousand-year history called Guangji Bridge😜. This is the real-life version of burning bridges, and it is one of China's four famous ancient bridges, along with Zhaozhou Bridge in Hebei, Luoyang Bridge in Quanzhou, and Lugou Bridge in Beijing👏. It looks like a beautiful long rainbow lying across the Han River, opening and closing for over 800 years, standing firm like a loyal old friend, witnessing the changes of time😃.
Stepping onto Guangji Bridge, the stone slabs underfoot seem to whisper to me, telling stories of the past. The marks on the stone slabs, worn by time, seem to record the footsteps of many people from ancient times to the present, carrying their various emotions—joyful, sad, happy, and sorrowful😔. Each stone slab is like a thick old book, inscribed with stories of time, some filled with vicissitudes, others with glory🌟. A gentle breeze blows, the river surface shimmering, complementing the bridge, creating an incredibly beautiful picture🤩

Chaozhou 2 Days 1 Night Guide | Recommended by locals
| Recommended by locals. Chaozhou 2 Days 1 Night Guide | Recommended by locals❗️Must see
When it comes to Chaozhou, I start drooling, and after craving for a long time, we finally set off!
1️⃣Transportation
Departing from Shanghai to Jieyang Airport, our itinerary was to first go to Nan'ao Island, then to Shantou and finally to wander and eat in Chaozhou.
Shantou➡️Chaozhou: You can choose to take a taxi, about 50 minutes; or you can take a bus, 28 yuan per ticket, which can be purchased in advance on the 'Chaozhou Yueyun' official WeChat account.
2️⃣Accommodation
For accommodation, we chose the hotel 'Seclusion', about 1 kilometer away from Chaozhou ancient city🏛️. The distance is just right, because being too close to the ancient city can be a bit noisy, and it's inconvenient to take a taxi🚗 on the pedestrian streets, while being too far is not convenient for traveling and sightseeing.
The hotel we stayed in is very artistic, with simple and mixed decorations that include technology style, equipped with automatic curtains🪟, bathtubs🛀, and screen projection, warm, comfortable, and convenient.
3️⃣Attractions
When visiting Chaozhou, you absolutely cannot miss these places!
The first stop is Kaiyuan Temple, a thousand-year-old temple with thriving incense, where every corner is permeated with a sense of historical weight, inspiring awe. We found the famous check-in spot 'Destined Kaiyuan' and posed for half a day.
Then we walked to Paifang Street, which seems to transport you back to ancient Chaozhou, with antique buildings and various archways that are too many to take in at once. Taking photos📷 and checking in is definitely a hit on the friend circle🟢. We went there on a Saturday, and it was quite crowded; it should be better on weekdays.
Don't forget to visit Zhenhai Tower🏠, the tallest building in Chaozhou. Standing on the tower, you can see the beautiful scenery of the entire city, an absolute visual treat!
Guangji Tower and Guangji Bridge🌉 are also must-visit spots. Guangji Tower is simple and elegant, a symbolic building of Chaozhou ancient city; Guangji Bridge is a magical ancient bridge that combines beam, pontoon, and arch bridges.
4️⃣Food
How can you miss these authentic snacks🫕 when playing in Chaozhou? Recommended by locals, not to be missed.
Guantang Chao Fu Chen Beef🥩 Hotpot: A decade-old brand, with its own slaughterhouse in Guantang, the beef is fresh and juicy, perfect after boiling for eight seconds, and even better when dipped in satay sauce, simply delicious!
Linghai Fish Raw🐟 Stall • Braised Goose with White Porridge: Chaozhou fish raw is second to none. The fish slices🍥 are as thin as cicada wings, crystal clear, paired with a special sauce, they melt in your mouth, incredibly fresh. We heard before coming that we couldn't miss the raw pickled hasma, and it was indeed a rare delicacy, with a smooth texture and delicious taste that is irresistible.
Traditional Desserts·Chaozhou Handmade Sweet Soup (Paifang Street Store): You must try Chaozhou sweet soup, Yangzhi Ganlu🍨, refreshing and delicious; the special coconut milk taro duck mother twist, with dense and delicate taro, rich and creamy coconut milk, a rich taste that lingers on and on;
Old Movie Theater Uncle's Braised Goose🦢 (Zhenhai Tower Store): Lion head goose platter, the goose wings are full and juicy, each bite seems to bite into the perfect blend of fresh meat and marinade; the goose meat is fresh and not greasy, melts in your mouth, leaving a lasting impression.
There are also fermented tofu chicken wings🍗, fermented tofu cakes, sugar onion bobbing🍕, kuih juice and so many more, Chaozhou is really too delicious, my 256G stomach can't hold it anymore!

Chaozhou Three-Day Two-Night Food and Sightseeing Guide (Part 1)
I've longed to visit Chaozhou, and I finally managed to arrange the trip✈️
Although three days and two nights is not a lot of time, I was able to satisfy my cravings and sightseeing desires😌. The only downside was the weather; it was overcast and rainy☔️. Weather really does play an important role when going out to have fun~
🚘Transportation: Day one Nanjing✈️Jieyang🚕Shantou
Day two Shantou chartered car tour around Nan'ao Island, circling the island, then off to Chaozhou
Day three Chaozhou🚕Jieyang✈️Nanjing
🏨Accommodation: Shantou——Junhua Haiyi Hotel, just a five-minute walk to Longyan South Road, convenient for ordering takeout, with butler service in the hotel, which is quite considerate. However, the hotel is clearly dated, with older facilities.
Chaozhou——Tengrui Crown Hotel, quite new, we stayed on the 38th floor with a nice view, the room environment and facilities were great~ The service was okay, not as considerate as the butler service in Shantou.
🎈Fun: Shantou——Strolled around the Little Park and Shantou Travel Agency, quite leisurely, good for taking photos, but the ferry ride back and forth didn't seem very interesting.
Nan'ao Island——The chartered driver took us around for a check-in tour, there are many scenic spots, but unfortunately the weather was bad, so we just took photos for check-in. Nan'ao Island's beaches are nice, we could bring kids here in the future and stay on the island for a night.
Chaozhou——Hanwen Gongci and Guangji Bridge are worth visiting, they have a strong sense of history and are close to each other, the light show on Guangji Bridge is quite stunning! Paifang Street is full of merchants, similar to Nanjing's Laomendong
😊Chaozhou is really delicious, with historical sites, culture, and natural scenery. Next time, I'll wait for good weather and come to play again👋

An ancient bridge in Guangdong has become popular, it is open during the day and splits into two at night
The scenes of relatives leaving and lovers separating often occur at the ferry crossing by the bridge. Standing at the head of the bridge, seeing the separation of relatives, it is inevitable to feel a sense of sorrow, and these strands of sorrow and bits of resentment have been transformed into beautiful texts and magnificent poems by literati, which are recited by people and add an artistic atmosphere to these ancient bridges. Today, let's walk into the Guangji Bridge, located opposite the Guangjimen City Tower on Huancheng East Road in Xiangqiao District, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, and see what different sceneries there are here. Although there are many similar ancient bridges in our country, the Guangji Bridge hidden in Guangdong is open during the day and splits into two at night, opening and closing for more than 800 years! Guangji Bridge, commonly known as Xiangzi Bridge, was built in the seventh year of Song Qiandao (1171 AD) and has a long history. Not only that, but it is also worth mentioning that it is also known as one of the 'Four Ancient Bridges of China' along with Zhaozhou Bridge, Luoyang Bridge, and Lugou Bridge. The surface of the Guangji Bridge is antique, the bridge spans the Han River, and combines beam bridges, arch bridges, and pontoon bridges into one, with a very special structure, which can be called a unique example in the history of bridges in our country.

Guang Ji Bridge
The Guang Ji Bridge in Han Jiang River. Another location to venture to. The Guangji bridge is a magnificent sight. The bridge is a fun place to take pictures and see the beauty of the Han Jiang River. The fun part of the bridge is the boat crossing. Hold on tight! Haha. The bridge was built to help merchants cross the river safely. While walking across the river, take lots of pictures and enjoy the wonderful architectural design. Enjoy the bridge. I highly recommend it. #newyearadventure

Chaozhou (Teochew) is an excellent place to spend a weekend.
The most famous sight in Chaozhou is the Guangji Bridge 广济桥, partly consisting of stone towers with a pontoon section in the middle that can be opened by moving the wooden boats. The extant bridge is a modern reconstruction of the ancient original, but it looks convincing. It's a little bit dear to cross, but the ticket itself is a postage-paid postcard.
The old city of Chaozhou retains its ancient wall on the river side, which makes a nice spot for a stroll.
Visit the picturesque West Lake, 西湖, and then walk along Zhongshan Road towards the river to see many workshops where the traditional art of Chaozhou woodcarving is still practised. The temples and ancestral halls in the old town are richly decorated with such carving.
Finally, stroll along the century-old main street marked by dozens of memorial arches and try some tasty street food or buy some locally made satay sauce to take home.
Several trains a day go from Guangzhou and Shenzhen to Chaoshan Station, from where you can get a bus to Chaozhou itself. Chaozhou is not very big, so you can easily visit it and neighbouring Shantou (Swatow) in a weekend.

Guangji Bridge.
Guangji Bridge is one of China's most famous ancient bridges. It is located outside the east gate of Chaozhou Ancient City in Guangdong Province, spanning the Han River and connecting the two banks of the river. It is known for its unique bridge construction style and is known as the "world's first drawbridge." Guangji Bridge was first built in the 7th year of the Qiandao period of the Southern Song Dynasty (1171). It was originally built by Zeng Wang, the governor of Chaozhou, who ordered the construction of stone piers and used 86 shuttle boats connected by iron chains to form a pontoon bridge, named "Kangji Bridge." Later, after being repaired by officials of successive dynasties, it gradually formed a unique pattern of "eighteen shuttle boats and twenty-four piers." The structure of Guangji Bridge is composed of two stone beam bridges in the east and west sections and a pontoon bridge in the middle. The eastern beam bridge is 283.35 meters long, the western beam bridge is 137.3 meters long, and the middle pontoon bridge is 97.3 meters long, connected by eighteen wooden boats. This floating beam structure can reduce the number of piers in the middle, greatly reducing the resistance to runoff. In the event of a flood, the pontoon bridge can be opened to quickly discharge the flood, improving the flood discharge capacity of the bridge. Guangji Bridge is not only a landmark building in Chaozhou but also a treasure in the history of Chinese bridge construction. It has witnessed the historical changes of Chaozhou, carries rich cultural connotations, and is still a part of the lives of the people of Chaozhou, attracting tourists from all over the world.

Chaozhou, the crowd, the trendy.
Autumn Play | Chaozhou, a small southern city that I have been thinking about. During the National Day holiday, I felt the trend and the crowd of the popular check-in points such as Guangji Bridge and the ancient city, but what really attracted me was those hidden corners, with the story style of the film era coming towards us.

Three-day, two-night trip to Chaoshan from Nanchang - Chaozhou Edition.
-
This trip was a pleasant surprise! There are flights from Nanchang to Jieyang almost every day for around CNY 200-300. That means you can get to Chaoshan in less than two hours for this price!
🌟 Chaozhou Edition
Chaozhou is actually quite small, and most of the attractions are concentrated. If you're short on time and only have one day to spend in Chaozhou, you can consider my route, which includes most of the must-see spots.
City walk route:
Archway Street➡️Yi Jing Market➡️Kaiyuan Temple➡️Xia Shui Men➡️Guangji Tower➡️Guangji Bridge➡️Xi Ma Road

Guangdong, Chaozhou, Guangji Bridge.
One of the four ancient bridges in China, one of the four famous bridges in China [16], and was praised by bridge expert Mao Yisheng as "the earliest drawbridge in the world". Guangji Bridge is located outside the east gate of Chaozhou Ancient City in Guangdong Province, spanning the Han River, connecting the east and west banks, integrating beam bridges, pontoon bridges, and arch bridges. It is an important transportation hub for ancient Guangdong to Fujian and Zhejiang, and one of the eight scenic spots in Chaozhou.

·
❷ Kashgar, Xinjiang
There's a saying that goes, "If you haven't been to Kashgar, you haven't been to Xinjiang". This is the filming location of the movie The Kite Runner, where you can immerse yourself in the Western Region's charm and historical heritage. The local bazaar is full of cultural vibes.
·
❸ Taxkorgan, Xinjiang
This small town on the Pamir Plateau is where the sun sets the latest in China. Here, you can admire the magnificent scenery of southern Xinjiang, including Muztagh Ata, White Sand Lake, Panlong Ancient Road, and Muji Volcano.
·
❹ Xi'an, Shaanxi
While Xi'an is not a niche city, this ancient capital with a long history is still worth a visit. Visit the Shaanxi Museum, stroll along the ancient city wall, and experience the bustling Tang Dynasty Night Market.
·
❺ Chengkan, Anhui
Escape the crowds of Huangshan, Xidi, and Hongcun, and come to Chengkan Ancient Village, which has a history of 1,800 years. The white walls and black tiles, the bluestone paths, and the serenity of boating on the lake will leave you feeling refreshed.
·
❻ Litang, Sichuan
This is Ding Zhen's hometown, where you can experience the mystery of Mount Genyen, the magnificence of the Thousand Households Tibetan Village, the vast grasslands, and the simple Tibetan people. Standing on the mountaintop, overlooking this "Sky City", you'll feel your soul being shaken.
·
❼ Lingshui, Hainan
Adjacent to Sanya, Lingshui has a romantic Freedom Lighthouse and a small train on the sea, making you feel like you're in a fairy tale world.
·
❽ Chaozhou, Guangdong
Chaozhou's cuisine is mouthwatering, with beef hotpot, rice noodle rolls, and kway teow, making it a paradise for food lovers. Stroll through the archway street, or experience the fun of "crossing the bridge and demolishing it" on the Guangji Bridge.
·
❾ Wuzhen, Zhejiang
There are many ancient towns in Jiangnan, but my favorite is still Wuzhen. Enjoy morning tea at the water market, sip tea at a teahouse in the afternoon, admire the lanterns at night, and take a boat ride at night to enjoy a peaceful evening.

Crying to death! Regret not seeing this Chaozhou travel guide earlier
Chaozhou, a cultural ancient city with a history of 1600 years, has a natural landscape of 'three mountains and one water surrounding the city'. I went to Chaozhou with friends the other day, and I really had to lean on the wall after eating in Chaozhou.
🌟
About sightseeing
Guangji Bridge: Coming out of Hanwen Gong Temple, opposite is Guangji Bridge. It is one of the four ancient bridges in China and also the 'earliest drawbridge in the world'. From ten in the morning to five in the afternoon, Guangji Bridge is walkable, and at other times, the boats🛶 that connect to Guangji Bridge will leave. If you are interested, you can wait to see the process of dismantling and assembling the bridge at 5:30 in the morning and evening! There is also a light show performance at 8⃣️ o'clock in the evening! It's a very special experience.

Chaozhou Ancient City🏛
Here gathers a lot of special food🥘 and historical buildings, with twenty-two Ming and Qing style archways and Nanyang style colonnades, which are common scenes in the ancient city! Here you can not only enjoy delicious food but also see different scenery.
🌟
About eating🍲
Chaozhou is most famous for its beef, so how can you not eat beef hotpot🥘 when you come to Chaozhou. The hanging dragon is a must-order signature dish, their beef is classified very meticulously, the meat is lean, and it is chewy and has a bite. The beef snowflake🥓 can be eaten after just a dozen seconds of blanching, leaving a fragrant taste on the lips and teeth, with a faint milky flavor, very delicious!
🌟
About staying🏨
I stayed in a homestay on Paifang Street in Chaozhou Ancient City, located in an alley, very close to the attractions, all nearby, very convenient.

Chaozhou Three-Day Extreme Tour (with tips to avoid pitfalls)
Super Girl's Weekend Extreme Tour to Chaozhou
Day one starts in the morning from Guangzhou South, arriving at Chaoshan Station at noon, then taking the high-speed rail tourism line (it's super hard to get a taxi at Chaoshan Station, we tried for a long time and finally chose the tourism line, 15 yuan per person which is acceptable) to Paifang Street.
📍Day One: Paifang Street — Guangji Bridge (you need to queue for a while, but it's not the peak season so the wait isn't long) — Hanwen Gong Temple — Wait by the river at 5:30 pm for the Guangji Bridge to be dismantled — Xima Road for dinner — Watch the light show on the banks of Guangji Bridge (there are shows at 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm)
📍Day Two: Kaiyuan Temple — Yi Garden — Qinglong Ancient Temple — Beef hotpot for lunch — Danfu Institute (it rained heavily so there were even fewer people, felt very serene and comfortable) — Xima Road to buy snacks back to the hotel
📍Day Three: Ji Lue Huang Gong Temple — West Lake Park — Looking for food (Eighteen Bend Fish Dumplings, Fan Sha Taro, Braised Goose, etc...) — Head home
🤤🤤Chaozhou must-eats: wheat cakes, Fan Sha Taro sweet potatoes, braised goose, almond tea, meat dumplings, beef hotpot, beef balls, sea stone flowers, seafood casserole porridge, licorice fruit, sugar onion thin pancakes!!
Note: ①Bring your student ID, most attractions offer half-price admission ②Places like Danfu Institute and Chaozhou Geological Park are on the mountains, it's hard to get a taxi when leaving, so try not to stay too late ③Cars and electric vehicles are not allowed inside the ancient city ④Make sure to leave the ancient city half an hour early to catch a taxi to Chaoshan Station for the return trip
Summary: When visiting Chaozhou, find a hotel in the ancient city, because all those attractions are inside the ancient city. Chaozhou really has a lot of delicious food!! You can eat different things every day, and compared to Paifang Street, Xima Road seems to have a slightly better cost-performance ratio for food, Paifang Street is a bit more expensive (to the extent that locals wouldn't go there), but I can still accept these.
❗️❗️But!! When I was about to leave Chaozhou and have my last meal, I wanted to eat beef slice Guo Tiao, so I planned to find a place on Paifang Street (because it was nearby). I found an older looking shop, went in and asked if they had beef Guo Tiao (at this time we just asked if they had it) the owner said yes, but when I looked at the menu it was beef ball Guo Tiao, I originally didn't want it, but he said he had already started cooking it, we hadn't even said whether we wanted it or not and he had already started cooking it, it was only two minutes from the time we came in to when we thought about leaving... Thinking about making do, beef balls then beef balls (Chaozhou's beef balls are really super delicious) but the beef balls in his bowl of Guo Tiao, were completely different from what I had at other shops, they tasted like the frozen hotpot ingredients beef balls from the supermarket downstairs of my house, my goodness, before this I always thought that there were no bad tasting beef balls in Chaoshan, this... And his Guo Tiao really disappeared after two chopsticks, I couldn't get full at all (and he charged me 25 yuan a bowl...)
Throughout the trip, the experience was very good, but the last meal left a bad impression, I'm really speechless
Really, don't think that older looking shops will be more authentic and affordable, especially on Paifang Street!!!!

湘子桥 Xiangzi Bridge, one of ‘ Four Ancient Bridges in China’
A must visit if u are going to Chaozhou! A bridge with lots of history! Ancient buildings and historical monuments!

Chaozhou Ancient City, a millennium-old city surrounded by delicacies and culture!
Chaozhou Ancient City, a millennium-old city surrounded by delicacies and culture!
Originally came for Chaoshan cuisine, but was captivated by the charm of this ancient city. Here lies China's largest ancient archway street, which although was rebuilt in 2006, still allows one to feel the glory of the past.
The arcade buildings on both sides of the archway street are filled with Nanyang style, a blend of Chinese and Western architecture, unique in its own right. Here, you can taste various Chaozhou delicacies and also enjoy intangible cultural heritage.
Recommended route: Guangji Bridge - Guangji Tower - Archway Street - Kaiyuan Temple - Xu Fu Ma Mansion - Huang Gong Temple.
There are 23 archways on Archway Street, each telling the story of Chaozhou's heroes, making one marvel at the wisdom and bravery of the ancients.
Guangji Bridge, which combines beam, pontoon, and arch bridges, is one of the world's earliest lift bridges, and its unique style is highly admirable.
As the entrance to Chaozhou Ancient City, Guangji Tower looks very majestic from below, giving one a sense of the city's historical depth.
When in Chaozhou, of course, you can't miss the food! Beef hot pot, raw pickles, rice noodle rolls, beef balls, oyster pancakes, fermented tofu chicken wings, rice noodle cakes, citrus juice... each dish is memorable, especially the fermented tofu chicken wings on Zhenqian Street, simply a heavenly delight!
TIPS:
1. Prepare stomach medicine and digestives in advance to alleviate the burden of delicacies.
2. There are many rickshaws near Archway Street, which you can hire to tour the eight great sights of Chaozhou for about 100 yuan, quite relaxing.
3. Chaozhou's shared electric bikes cannot reach the Guangji Bridge area, so don't ride them in when watching the light show.
🚄Transport: You can take the high-speed train to Chaoshan Station or fly to Jieyang Airport, then rent a car to Chaozhou, which is very convenient.
🏨Accommodation: It is recommended to choose a place near Archway Street for convenience in travel and dining. If you rent a car, you can also stay a bit further away where hotels are newer and offer better value for money.

Shocking! Chaozhou actually produces such films!
I had heard about Chaozhou before, mainly because of the severe gender discrimination in the area, and I definitely experienced it during my half-day tour.
Chaozhou has a low population density, and buses will stop when you wave. When boarding, you need to tell the driver where you are going so they can charge you the correct fare. If you don't, you'll either be charged the maximum fare or get yelled at by the driver (to be honest, it's really scary when the driver starts shouting, and it seems like their operation isn't very regular. Who knows, I was on bus 101 going from Thai Buddha Temple to Han Gong Temple, and before reaching the last stop, the driver yelled at me to get off because he only went to the penultimate stop. I asked him why, and he looked like he was about to chop someone, it was terrifying jpq)
Back to the main topic, my route was Thai Buddha Temple to Han Wen Gong Temple to Guangji Bridge to Guangji Building to Pai Fang Street to Kaiyuan Temple to the high-speed train station. Han Wen Gong Temple was closed on Monday, so that was a wasted trip; Guangji Bridge had a half-price ticket of 10 yuan due to the weather; getting to Guangji Building could only be done by taxi, as it's not convenient by bus; the Thai Buddha Temple was under rough renovation, but there were many young ladies taking photos, which added some charm.
However, I was happy to encounter a super cute cat~ As soon as I squatted down to look at it, it rolled over and showed me its belly, I really am a cat magnet (shy face)
JOSHUA HARDY
Spent half a day playing around the ancient city of Chaozhou√
Who knows! Because 'Du Sui Rui' is really powerful, we canceled tonight's Chaozhou homestay and the subsequent itinerary 55555 But unexpectedly, we almost finished playing in Chaozhou in half a day
We went straight to the ancient city of Chaozhou at noon, and parked the car at the foot of the city wall (maybe because we went early, we could still find a spot! In the evening when we drove, we found out that it was free! No wonder the snack bar owner said parking outside was free, I scanned my phone many times and it kept showing no record! Hahaha, the joy of freeloading
1 Because it was quite hot at noon, the snack bar owner said Kaiyuan Temple was cool, so we went there first. It is said that Kaiyuan Temple is very efficacious
2 Then we strolled around Paifang Street (actually, all the scenic spots in the ancient city are connected, with roads leading in all directions, you can just wander around) Lots of snacks! Oh right, we bought a lot of bottles of oil mandarin juice, really cheap, most of them 5 yuan per bottle, super healthy! Sweet aftertaste! Cooling and refreshing! Because it was too hot, we went to a dessert shop and had some, ordered turtle jelly and duck mother twist, it was just so-so, not the tasty kind of dessert, not recommended~
Then after 4 pm, we went to Guangji Building and Guangji Bridge, there were too many people on the bridge and it was very sunny, so we didn't go up, just looked at Guangji Bridge by the river~ (it's cooler with the shade of trees~) There are many sellers of autumn pear cream and luohan fruit drinks, reasonably priced, refreshing and tasty~4 Near Guangji Building, there are many tricycles offering tours of the eight scenic spots of Chaozhou ancient city, priced at 100/car (a car should fit up to three people at most! One person has to sit facing backwards) I, adhering to the principle of saving where I can, tried to bargain and successfully got it down to 70 yuan, then the three of us happily
Took a tricycle ride around the ancient city! Our driver was a local from Chaozhou
He was very honest and gave a detailed introduction, highly recommended! Because we went late, most of the scenic spots were closed, we could only take a quick look at the entrance Special reminder: the tricycle has a fixed route, it will take you to a place selling Chaozhou's three treasures, but it's okay if many don't buy anything, we just happened to want to buy so we bought a little) As for the duration of the whole tricycle ride, I feel it's about an hour? But this depends on how long you spend at the scenic spots and the speed of the tricycle. Overall, the tricycle experience was great!
5 After the tricycle ride, the end point was near Kaiyuan Temple, we walked to Xima Road to eat snacks~ Had fermented tofu chicken wings, salty rice cake, almond tea, rice cake, peach cake, phoenix tofu, oyster pancake, seaweed beef ball soup, sticky rice pork intestine, etc., didn't specifically look for shops, just bought from the ones with more people, emmm it was just okay, nothing amazing, maybe I'm just not very sensitive to this kind of food~ But it's still worth a try
6 Finally, we went to see the night view of Guangji Building, it was great! There were many stalls selling lanterns and hairpins, lanterns were basically 5-15 yuan, not sure about the hairpins, pretty cute~ (Oh right! When we were on the city wall, it suddenly started pouring rain, many people didn't bring umbrellas, the shops below immediately broadcasted: Selling raincoats and umbrellas! But it was just a shower, stopped after about ten minutes~)
7 Because we had to rush back to Xiamen, we didn't see the light show of Guangji Bridge~ But
we saw the night view of Guangji Bridge! Chaozhou·Guangdong
