Today, I'd like to introduce you to the Hanok 'Baekinje House' located right next to Bukchon Hanok Village! 🏯 Built in the early 1910s, this upper-class house is a perfect place for those curious about the interior of a Hanok, as it is well-preserved and made of high-quality materials, including the famous Abrokgang black pine. What's more, there is no entrance fee, making it an excellent choice for those on a budget! 🤑 This place is well-known as a filming location for the movie "Assassination" and has received a lot of attention from the public since the movie's release. However, when I visited on a weekend, there were surprisingly few people, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful stroll. 🚶‍♀️ Although the nighttime viewing has been suspended due to the pandemic, I'm eagerly anticipating the day when it will resume. You can see this old building located behind Jeongdok Library The interior of the house is really pretty. There is an internal walking path so you can take a short walk. Since admission is free, if you have time, I recommend taking a walk while you are in Jongno!

It is located in Samcheong-dong. It has a very luxurious appearance. Baek In-je, who founded Baek Hospital, lived there. His wife lived there until the end, and now it is the property of the country. Bukchon is a representative tourist attraction in Jongno, Seoul. I visited Baek In-je House in Bukchon where you can feel the scenery of Hanok Village. Baek In-je House is quiet and you can see the beauty of Hanok. You can apply for the commentary through the Seoul Metropolitan Government Public Service Reservation, and the commentary is held 4 times a day and is limited to 15 people per session. If the number of reservations is not filled, you can make a reservation on-site, so you can listen to the commentary even if you cannot make a reservation in advance. You must watch the commentary to see the inside of Baek In-je House. Baek In-je House was also used as a filming location for movies and dramas. The attic attached to the main building was used as a filming location for the movie Assassination. The Baek In-je House was a privately owned house that became government-owned. It is a wonderful house that combines traditional and modern elements. During the Corona period, taking pictures without masks was prohibited, but now you can take pictures to your heart's content, which is fortunate.
