Baek In-je House, located in Gahoe-dong, Bukchon, is a representative Japanese colonial era hanok that preserves the style of modern hanok.
It is centered around a stately Sarangchae on a 2,460m2 site overlooking Bukchon, and has a spacious main house and a large garden, and a small detached house at the highest point.
Baek In-je House is introduced as a representative building of Bukchon along with Yun Bo-seon House in terms of architectural scale and historical value, while maintaining the beauty of traditional hanok and accepting modern changes.
