Food street - Huimin street
Address - You can type in drum tower in the Didi, the Muslim Quarter street is right next to it.
Ambiance/Facilities - Go to this street when you are hungry, so that you have enough space to taste different dishes...there's a lot to choose from; yoghurt, tofu, ice-cream, bread, noodles etc. While you are there you can go for a ear cleaning, it's an interesting experience😋
Highlights - All the different food and drinks to taste. The Huimin street yoghurt is one of my favorites.
Avg. Price per Person - From 10 upwards...there's a lot to taste🤤😁 Some people spend 50 yuan and others 150 yuan. The food is cheap and delicious here.
Rating - 5/5

Muslim Street
The main food street area is known as Huimin Street or Muslim Quarter. It's a main street with a few intersecting roads. So the Xi’an Muslim Food Street is the collective name for a number of streets, including Beiyuanmen Street, North Guangji Street, Xiyangshi Street and Dapiyuan Street, and it has become a famous attraction of Xi’an for its profound Muslim cultural atmosphere.
Caution: If you are vegetarian, you may want to reconsider a walk through this street. This is a haven for meat lovers, and there meat all around.
Xian was the starting point of the ancient Silk Road 1,000 years ago in the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-9 AD).

Just as its name implies, the Muslim Quarter, also known as Huimin Jie in Pingyin, is the hub of the Muslim community in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. Located to the north of the West Street in the city center, the quarter covers several blocks inhabitated by over 20,000 Muslims. There are about ten mosques in the area of the Muslim Street, among which the Great Mosque in the Huajue Lane is the most famous and popular.
Muslim food and souvenir market is another feature of the area. The Beiyuanmen Muslim Market located just to the north of the Drum Tower is a great choice after the sightseeing in the city center. About 500 meters (about 547 yards) in length from south to north, the street can be reached through the archway under the Drum Tower. This street is paved with dark colored stone with green trees providing heavy shade during summer; the buildings on both sides of the street are modeled on the styles of both the Ming (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasties (1644-1911). Some of the constructions are restaurants; while others are stores. But here there is one thing in common: the owners are all Muslims.
Experience Xi’an’s Vibrant Muslim Community
You can find this vibrant area of Xi’an just north of the West Street in the city center! It’s several blocks lined with restaurants, shops, vendors and spas.
The moment you enter the Muslim Quarter you are greeted by an intoxicating scent of spices. The main street of the quarter is flanked by a line of carts with vendors selling everything from grilled lamb skewers to fresh baked breads! You can also find biang biang noodles, dumplings and cotton candy!
There are several mosques in the area as well as an alley full of flea market style shopping! We spent over 6 hours exploring the streets, alleys, shops and mosques and didn’t even see everything! The Muslim Quarter is a must see when visiting Xi’an!

Muslim Quarter Xi’an
A must see in Xi’an! An amazing street for all the senses. Frozen yogurt rolls, pomegranate juice and the most decorative breads. Also a place for all souvenirs and bartering in the market.

Xi'an is amazingly rich in culture and great for food lovers❣ It was the beginning of the old silk road and therefore a festival of food culture. There is even a Muslim Quarter or a street known as Huimin Street where you can try amazing local delicacy. The street leads to the bell tower which is also one of the cultural highlights of the city 👌 Unfortunately there are not many options for vegetarians but still worth a visit and you can opt for ice cream or their sweet offerings.

📍Muslim street or Muslim quarter, Xi’an
I came here during my winter break with my cousin. It was a really fun trip. I couldn’t believe i made myself all the way to Xi’an. This Muslim Quarter is heaven on earth. I really love everything about this place. They sell all halal food (food that doesn’t contain any pork). Everything is just beef or lamb. I was strolling around and just bought everything that caught my eyes and looked interesting. The RouJiaMo (5th picture) was the highlight of this place. the bread was so crunchy and soft while the beef was perfectly seasoned and tender!!

This time, I must try all the foods in Xi'an!
Last September was my first visit to Xi'an, and I had a very, very, very good impression🌹🌹
Everything was relatively cheap and I didn't encounter any disappointments😍
The tea drinks at Chahua Nong are delicious, although they feel similar to those from Bawang Tea Ji and Cha Yan Yue Se, but they don't keep you awake like Bawang Tea Ji does👀👀
Barbecue at the Hui Min Street is so cheap!🌟🌟🌟
Only a few cents per skewer and they taste great!🍀🍀🍀
Xi'an has a lot of noodle dishes, I didn't eat much last time but this time I will try them all!🥰🥰🥰
Donkey meat burgers were bought at the morning market👀
The first time I visited the morning market, it was just too crowded and I felt pushed forward🥳🥳🥳
The uncle cutting the meat made it look so tender and fresh🌟🌟🌟
Hehe, this time I'm going on a whim✨
Bought the ticket on the night of the 2nd for departure on the 4th✨
All the foods I haven't tried yet, wait for me, I will definitely try them all in Xi'an this time!🌻🌻🌻
Xi'an Travel Guide | Muslim Street, a place brimming with the lively atmosphere of humanity, soothing to the commoner's heart
👍Most recommended: Xi'an Muslim Street, a fusion of food and culture!
❤Reason for recommendation: As a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Xi'an, almost every traveler who sets foot in Xi'an is attracted by the street's delicacies and comes here by reputation!
🌟Highlights and features: Muslim Street, as one of the representatives of Xi'an's local culture, is a collective name for several streets in the Hui Muslim district, also known locally as 'Huifang' or 'Fangshang', consisting of North Guangji Street, Beiyuanmen, West Sheep Market, Dapiyuan, Hua Jue Alley, Sajinqiao, and several other streets. Here, you will be surrounded by the aroma of various delicious foods, such as barbecue skewers, mutton stewed in bread, cold noodles, roujiamo (meat sandwich), and zenggao (steamed rice cake)... Enthusiastic vendors will recommend all kinds of local snacks to you, allowing you to taste the local delicacies and satisfy your taste buds. Not only is there food, but the street also carries a profound history. The Shaanxi provincial governor's office during the Ming and Qing dynasties was located here, and Lin Zexu once stayed here and wrote the famous verse 'If the matter is of benefit to the state, why should I avoid it for fear of misfortune or fortune?' The nearby Bell Tower and Drum Tower have witnessed the vicissitudes of this ancient city. At night, Muslim Street is even more brilliantly lit, with bustling crowds and lights reflecting off each other, showcasing the unique charm of Xi'an's night market. Strolling through the streets and alleys, it's as if time has reversed; walking from the entrance of Beiyuanmen to the head of Sajinqiao, with cobblestone pavements, shaded trees, ancient brick houses, and traditional wooden carvings, you can feel the thick historical atmosphere. This everlasting lively atmosphere lets you experience the passage of time and the sediment of history!
📍Detailed address: No. 125-51, Beiyuanmen, Lianhu District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province
🚉Transportation: Take the subway Line 1 to Sajinqiao Station or Line 2 to Bell Tower Station, and then it's a short walk to reach the destination.
🚶♀️Recommended walking and eating route: The entrance and exit roads are accessible from all directions, with all kinds of food, drink, and fun to be had in every street and alley. I personally recommend eating in the small alleys and wandering around Muslim Street. ▶️Exit from Exit B of Sajinqiao Station on the subway, walk about 50 meters west to enter from Sajinqiao Road, then head south, eating and browsing along the way, passing through Temple Back Street, North Guangji Street, Dapiyuan, and heading east to Beiyuanmen Muslim Street.
❤️Warm tips!
1. The main street of Muslim Street is very suitable for taking photos and checking in, especially at night, where you can experience the liveliness of Xi'an's nightlife. The real delicacies are in the small alleys behind, so it's recommended to explore the alleys more, and you might find some surprises.
2. Dapiyuan, East Sheep Market, North Guangji Street, Qiaozikou, and other large areas are referred to as 'Fangshang' by old Xi'an residents, where you can explore the most civilian and authentic Xi'an life.
3. There are many Huifang mosques, including Hua Jue Alley Great Mosque (entrance fee 25 yuan/person), Xiaopiyuan Mosque, Dapiyuan Mosque, Qingzhen West Mosque, and Xinsixiang Mosque, which are open to the public for visits.
4. If you're driving, don't take your car into Huifang, as you'll doubt your life choices due to the traffic; it's better to walk. Accommodation in Huifang is not much cheaper than surrounding hotels, taxis generally refuse to take you there, and it's nearly impossible for a taxi to enter.
5. Be careful of electric bikes and motorcycles zipping through the streets and alleys.
6. Drinking alcohol and carrying pork products are prohibited in Huifang.

📌"Muslim Quarter" 回民街
📍Address: 1 Xida St, 北院门小吃一条街 Lianhu District, Xi'An, Shaanxi, China, 710007
Xi'An Muslim Street is a famous food and cultural district in Xi'An. It is a must-visit place when visiting Xi'An. There you can find a large number of gourmet shops on both sides of the street, and nearly 300 kinds of special snacks are the charm that makes people linger and want to stop. Xi'An's delicious cuisine has a long history, and its beef and mutton steamed buns are the most famous.
Food is fragrant and delicious, sticky, tough, and smooth, cooked finely; the soup is thick, rich in nutrients, and full of aroma. The barbecue on Xi'An Muslim Street is also a special feature. Although barbecue originated in Xinjiang, the meat pieces are small and thin, and each skewer must be topped with fat meat to make the sauce thicker.
If you come to Xi'an, you must try them.

I saw the Terracotta Army - Xian 西安
First time going to Xian and it was amazing. Firstly, the Terracotta Army is a must see. The site was huge and you can easily spend several hours there. I would strongly recommend going with a tour guide as they can tell you a lot more about the history of the site.
You can also see a lot of the history in the downtown areas of Xian, with plenty of walls and towers to visit. I would also strongly recommend visiting the Muslim Quarter, as they have some of the best lamb and noodle dishes I have ever tasted.

回民街 aka Hui Min Jie is a regular ancient styled walking street, also well known as Muslim Quarter in Xi'an. Actually, I want to mention one thing. The block is divided into two parts : for tourists with high prices and for locals. Just go deeply in the hood leaving the bright and adorned streets with accurate pavement. And very soon you get arrive at the market and streets for local residents. Prices there are lower, food even tastier))))

[Xi'an must eat snack street, a Huimin Street]
to a place in addition to visiting its attractions, food is not less! Today, I will have to eat snack street - Huimin Street ~ before I came to Xi'an, I have been stuck in the meat folder, etc.~ I only know that there are super delicious fried fish! There are also egg jams, red willows. Hu spicy soup, Liangpi, sweet-scented osmanthus cake... Go around and have a good stomach. Of course, biangbiang noodles and mutton steamed buns are also very authentic and delicious.
Here is still a push to personally think that the more delicious shop for everyone:
A family that locals eat. The difference between the small fried clams and the mutton chop is that the taste is heavier, but it is really delicious. The rich soup and the mutton and the clam are not too delicious. The environment is perfect.
address
I have been to Huimin Street many times, and I have eaten a lot of food in Huimin Street. But for the first time, I found that there is still a super delicious shared cold stain. Every dish is made with toothpicks. , vegetarian dishes, and watermelons, all kinds! Both the dishes and the dishes are shared, so it is only fun and healthy to keep everyone in the dip. It is divided into spicy and three fresh, and it is more interesting to eat! And what I like the most is this cheesecake, which is stained with the secret dried chili pepper and feels addictive! 6 hair a string has no minimum consumption, feel free to enjoy!
Then it is recommended to try the ice powder here, the boss is handmade, the taste is quite authentic! Opposite to coco, Huifang Pedestrian Street, Xiyang City, Huimin Street, Lianhu District
Huimin Street is also a commercial street. It is really delicious to go inside the deep lane. Before going there, I saw a lot of Raiders. Which one is delicious, in fact, it is not necessary. Everyone or every place has different tastes, so it still has to be Explore yourself and follow your eyes. . . This kebab is the first in Xiyang City. I realized that his family is quite famous afterwards. Some friends who see me send pictures know which one is. The price of 10 yuan is indeed a bit high, but the taste is great. It is the only food that Xi'an has made me miss, and it is the only store I have eaten twice in Xi'an. . . . The old couple is also very polite, although very busy, ask them no questions, or patiently introduce to you. . . .
How come Xi'an can not taste the authentic biangbiang face, look at the eye to find a family is not too much, first buy a single number plate, there is a relationship, 029 Xi'an area code, the taste is not bad, I like it very much The seasoning inside. . . The price of each family is about the same, about 15-25 yuan, so there is no need to find a lot of people, or the Raiders said that it is particularly delicious.
powder steamed meat small 12 yuan, 15 yuan large, a small, taste in general, go to this store because the store owner is like me, the name is the king, this is the eye, but the boss is very Enthusiasm, people don't talk to me more often. I told him that in Nanjing, the general surname of the Hui people is mostly Jinsha Madha. The boss said that Xi'an is a family name, and the surnames of the surnames are all there. Then I chatted with me about the Nanjing Hui people. At the gathering place, I told him that in the Seventh Bay, the Chaotian Palace was the first generation, I lived here. . .
Xi'an Huimin snack street is full of meals
Since the "Flower of the Year" starred by Sun Wei, the popularity of Xi'an has increased day by day! This TV series not only shaped the image of Shaanxi women who were not afraid of hardship and tenderness, but also won the favor of the popular food of Shaanxi. Many people said that they had swallowed the whole drama after swallowing. Zhou Ying, the female host of the play, likes to eat glutinous rice cakes, and she comes to eat and drink. The cakes made of glutinous rice are layered with jujube, soft and sticky, steamed jujube with some sour taste, mixed with glutinous rice. Cakes are a great match, and people who like to eat big red dates must like this snack! There are many northern-style pastries that are good for blood and are more suitable for girls to eat.
When you enter the people's street, you go straight to the old grandson's mutton, the mutton is thinly stewed with a pot of soup, and the steaming end of the table, you must take a hot air to sprinkle a small hard surface in the bowl. Pies of cake, then chopsticks some Shaanxi chili sauce into the soup, when the soup puts these hard noodles into a semi-soft and not hard when a spoon is sent into the mouth, hot through the intestines, sweating back up, regain confidence, absolutely Don't bow to the cold winter that freezes your toes!
biang biang, the most complicated word that I saw on the street signs in Xi'an was the most Chinese characters that could not be drawn on the phone: biang. It is only in the Kangxi Dictionary that the Chinese character can be found. The sword is far from the peak. It may be because its name is strange that it has attracted countless pilgrims to come to the carding experience. The name is loud, but in fact it is just a bowl of noodles that are as wide as a belt.
Huimin Street is a famous food and culture district in Xi'an. Huimin Street is located in the North Gate of the Qing Dynasty. It is the official office of the Qing Dynasty. Because the governor of Shaanxi Province is in the north of the Drum Tower, it is named Beiyuan. At the end of the 1990s, some Hui people rented houses to operate catering in this street, and the Lianhu District tampered with the renovation of the dining street. The threshold of the North Campus became Huimin Street. The fireworks of
kebabs and sirloin spread the whole street under the not bright light. The bustling crowds are shopping and eating. Seeing the favorite things on the stalls and the stall owners For a counter-offer, everything is full of real and lively enthusiasm.
Some visitors will complain about the chaos in Huimin Street, and the food is not authentic. Indeed, because the Huimin Street area is huge, many tourists turn to the North Gate in the middle of the day, and because of the large flow of people in the North Gate, the practice of the merchants is indeed biased towards the tourist business.
Under the recommendation of a friend, the restaurants I have eaten are all in the area of Jiujinqiao, and the categories I want to eat can find the corresponding stores. There are relatively few tourists there, and the city has a deeper taste.
is separated from the place where tourists gather. Huiminfang is like the old neighborhood where everyone lived in childhood. There is always an alley downstairs, it is not wide, not beautiful, but it has delicious shops, friendly neighbors, you recognize the owner of each shop, the streets are full of life.
To Xi'an, where the card must be punched, Xi'an Huimin Street is one of the representatives of Xi'an style. It is the collective name for many streets in Huimin Street, from Beiguangji Street, Beiyuanmen, Xiyang City, Dapiyuan, Huajue Lane, It is a combination of several streets, such as the Golden Bridge. Walking in the neighborhood, you can find commercial outlets with traditional Chinese architectural style and Muslim architectural style. Ethnic costumes, handicrafts, halal non-staple food, food and beverage outlets and Huimin snack bars are on the rise.
There are a lot of tourists in Xian Huimin Street, most of them come to eat. This Spring Festival, I was transferred to the "Gao Family Courtyard" at the intersection of Xiyang City in Huimin Street, but it was for the "Intangible Cultural Heritage" performance. This is a large house with a main body for the Chongzhen years of the Ming Dynasty. It has a history of more than 400 years.
I watched the "non-legacy" performances of the Huayin Laocai and the Shadow Play in the courtyard. I was watching for the first time. Most of the performers of the
old cavity are old people, but the passion is hustle and bustle, the tone is ups and downs, and even the rock and roll "falling guitar" feels at high tide.
Shadow play requires a fine taste, sound and action perfectly matched, I feel very curious, and can't wait to understand it after the end.
[Ticket information]: Tickets + old room + shadow play 50 yuan; tickets + old room 35 yuan; tickets + shadow play 25 yuan.
Punch back to the people's street! Every city has such a place, food is like a cloud, and people are like water. It is like the Ciqikou of Chongqing, the Jinli of Chengdu, the West Street of Yangshuo~
I would like to ask Xi'an's little friends, what are the famous specialty food snacks in the local area? I can go back and forth in the crowd!
