[2025 Kuala Lumpur Stay] Travel Guide for Indie Hotel Kuala Lumpur (Updated May)

I love this hotel! The vibe is cool. The surrounding is serene, hotel features are nicely decorated. The room feels cosy. The bed and furniture arrangements are nicely placed. Hotel did not provide facial tissue. And sometimes there are loud noise of car honks or people banging the door. Maybe cos the rooms are closely located to each other. We had a peaceful & relaxing #staycation overall. At least I slept well despite the noises.

Okay so this is my first time visiting KL and I wanted to find a hotel that was affordable and also cute. My parents wanted to stay in the central but I wanted something more aesthetic 🧚‍♀️💐✨ 
Honestly the location is so much better than I expected. Just outside of our hotel, a 5mins walk down the hill you'll reach a street of bars and restaurant. Similar to boat quay vibes, we visited a steakhouse which was so cheap?! (I'll share more in my upcoming post) and there was cafes and so much more. I'll definitely come back again just for the restaurant 💃 
Anyways, we paid $60 for the large room which comes with a king size bed. The medium room was only $45 and it comes with 2 single bed. 
The room is super cute it comes with the full toiletries set, coffee tea & even MILO?! 💗 Big pump bottles of shampoo and body wash. 
The best thing about the room is the BED 😭 its so fluffy and luxurious you honestly wouldnt expect it to be this comfy for the price you're paying! ✨ There's also 4 pillows too! 
Another good thing about the hotel is the toilet, it's literally the perfect spot to get your makeup done cause its so well lited thanks to the mirror 😍 
Right outside of the hotel there's the escooters and also a mini mart which makes it super convenient too.

Beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable rooms, very satisfactory layout, hotel location is ok, not busy, lots of green trees, so the area is dim. Suitable for those who like jogging. The price is reasonable, the lobby space is a little limited, but it's beautiful. For anyone who smokes make sure to choose a special room for smoking. If not, you will be fined later. The whole hotel is the best. #wecreate

I’ve been looking forward to book any nearest hotel around Bukit Bintang where I can just walk to Damascus and don’t have to walk for too far, thus I ended up booking a family room at Indie Hotel..even though this hotel is just a 3 stars hotel, but the amenities almost feel like I was at a 5 stars hotel.

Indie Hotel is ideally situated in Kuala Lumpur's Bukit Bintang area, just a short walk from Changkat bar street, Jalan Alor, and popular shopping malls, making it a great choice for those looking to explore the city. While the hotel offers a good location, the cleanliness and service leave some room for improvement. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and the hotel doesn't provide breakfast. Valet parking is available for RM20 per day, but the limited covered parking spaces can be tricky, so it's best to park and leave the car as is. The hotel doesn't offer many dining services, but there is a Bila-bila Mart downstairs for snacks. Although the room was comfortable with good air conditioning, the soundproofing could be better, as we could hear noise from other guests. Additionally, the front desk staff was more focused on the parking fee than providing useful information about the hotel, and we had to ask about the elevator system. While it offers a prime location, those seeking a higher-quality experience may want to look elsewhere due to the minor service and cleanliness issues. I love the Hotel we stayed at Bukit Bintang for 2 days and 1 night. The staff and the service are great. The room is spacious and good enough for our 4 family members. The amenities are perfect and enough. Only one problem is the aircond is not cold. My family and I cannot get enough sleep because of that. I hope the hotel will fix the problem because we loved to come again. The hotel is near the viral food restaurants.

Located in the center of Kuala Lumpur. Nice neighborhood I'd say. It's quite & bit dark around the night, but still safe. A lot of pub, bar and restaurants within walk distance. Car park is also available for guests. Cafe & convenience store are just beside the hotel. And what's good is you can just walk to get to Pavilion in just 10 minutes. Room was good and clean, not that spacious. Got iron & board, tv, study table, fridge, kettle, coffee & tea sachet, drinking water and qiblah direction. #wecreate
