Traditional Korean family-style dining in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Tsim Sha Tsui's Kimberley Street is often referred to as Little Korea, where there are many Korean restaurants. One of them, decorated like a traditional Korean family home, is called 'Gagahoho'. The menu sets come in many varieties, all looking very authentic, so I decided to give it a try.
Spicy Pork Set Meal $118
The pork portion is generous, and it's mostly lean meat, not at all greasy. The sauce is fragrantly spicy and goes great with rice.
Korean Beef Stone Bowl Rice $108
A must-try recommendation! This traditional Korean dish, stone bowl mixed rice, is a must-order. The stone pot contains colorful vegetables, beef, and a raw egg, which when mixed, is fragrant and steaming hot. Plus, the crispy rice crust at the bottom of the stone pot is very satisfying.
Each set meal comes with a bottle of Yakult, and although it's not a Korean brand, it still has an authentic Korean flavor.
