Jifeng Mountain in the Clouds
🪧Jifeng Mountain National Forest Park is located 15 km southwest of Cheng County. It is part of the western Qinling Mountains, with steep mountains and lush pine forests. It is said that Emperor Qin Shi Huang once climbed this mountain, and many temples were built in the mountains.
Among them, Guangxiang Temple was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. Jifeng Mountain is named after its "peculiar peaks, which are solitary and straight into the clouds, resembling a chicken's head". It is known as the No. 1 mountain in Longnan and the No. 1 scenic spot in Huicheng for its beautiful peaks, clear water, and strange caves, and is famous in Shaanxi, Gansu, and Sichuan provinces.
✅1. Transportation
Bus You 66, the first bus departs at 7 am, every 20 minutes or so, starting from Xinbao Road and ending directly at the entrance of the scenic spot, 40 minutes in total, CNY 2, you can scan the code or swipe the bus card, but not the Shouxing card, student card is available; after getting off the bus, you can choose to walk to the ticket office (40 minutes) or take a shuttle bus for CNY 20;
Driving, the mountain road is also very convenient, you can drive in and park in the parking lot, walk up for 10 minutes or take a shuttle bus for CNY 10 (from the parking lot to the ticket office is CNY 10) to the ticket office

The road up the mountain is generally a winding mountain road, at first it is a flat road, the slope is acceptable, about to the "Southeast Ditch" will become a sunken and uneven cement road, and will become steeper, the steepest place is about 40 degrees (visually);
There is a platform in front of the Qianchi Ladder where you can take a short break, then the road will be divided into two, the left is a wooden staircase, the right is a shorter cement staircase, it is recommended to go up the mountain on the right, how to say, more of a "climbing" feeling haha, and the left can see the sign is also designed for going down the mountain;
After passing the "Meet at the Top" sign, you can see the "Jifeng Mountain" sign on the left, now the height is already very high, after passing the sign, continue to climb the mountain, almost all of them are wooden stairs hanging on the edge of the cliff, you can see the "Jade Bamboo Shoots", "Golden Rooster" and other attractions in turn
It is said that there are a total of 5 chickens, you can look for them
✅4. Down the mountain
You can choose to return from the road you came up, or take the wooden Qianchi Ladder, it takes about 1.5-2 hours to walk (going down the mountain is really hard on the knees...)

It takes about 6 hours to return to the ticket office, and then you can also take the shuttle bus to the bus stop at the entrance (not recommended to walk, after going down the mountain, you are already exhausted)
