\Recommended for Korean connoisseurs/ JK Blossom Hotel
This time I stayed at JK Blossom Hotel.
This hotel was assigned to me by HIS on their super cheap tour!
I usually stay in Dongdaemun.
I was a little worried because it was so far away from Myeongdong and Dongdaemun...
But I was very satisfied with the result!
I think it's a good place for people who have visited Korea several times to make new discoveries...!
📍Location: 20-85 Yeongchang-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul
646m from Exit 2 of Chungmi Station, Line 9
💞Reasons why I recommend it:
As you can see in the fifth photo, Chungmi Station is 6 stops from Gimpo Airport on Line 9! It's about 15 minutes away, so it's great for accessing the airport!
If you have a suitcase, I recommend taking a taxi! It should cost you 1,500 to 2,000 yen, so it shouldn't be a problem...!
Of course, you can walk 10 minutes from the station, but the slope is steep, so it might be a bit tiring to walk with a suitcase!
[Route to the hotel]
Exit 2 has an escalator, so it's easy!
If you walk straight, you'll see a building with many restaurants, such as Oryan and CU! It has the atmosphere of a place where locals often come to drink with friends◎
The toilet in this building doesn't have a password, so it was helpful when I suddenly had a stomachache. lol
If you pass the building, you will see a row of apartment buildings in front of you. Turn left on the road in front of the apartment buildings and walk straight ahead until you see a steep slope. Walk along the road and you will see the hotel😇
At this time, be sure to walk on the road on the apartment side...!
If you go along the road right next to the building, you will reach a dead end😭 (I've experienced this before)
There was a guide pole standing there, so you won't get lost? I think✌️
[Hotel impressions]
Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the room, but it was a beautiful room. There is a convenience store next to the front desk, which is convenient!
There was also someone at the front desk who could speak Japanese◎
[Recommended ways to spend your time]
The Blossom Hotel is a little far from the station, but the bus stop is very close! Buses run frequently from bus stops just a 2-minute walk away and 5-minute walk away, so it's convenient for Korea-savvy people who are used to buses!
I also used the Weather Companion Card to get around easily!
Line 9 is also surprisingly convenient, and it's a direct line to the Express Terminal, and Dangsan Station has a lot of delicious restaurants!
Yeouido Station was especially good!
If you're staying in Myeongdong or Dongdaemun, it's a hassle to go all the way to Yeouido, but this time I went to Yeouido on my way back from the Express Terminal!
I had just had a cosmetic dermatology treatment, so I didn't want to be exposed to the sun...! It was great to be able to experience Korea indoors, at places like the IFC Mall. There's Oriyang and Musinsa Standard! From Korean brand clothes to NIKE and UNIQLO.
You can shop without any problems! There's also a large Hyundai department store just a short walk away! Yeouido is a great station where you can spend time indoors! !
I especially recommend Enoteca in IFC Mall!
The wines that are discounted sometimes vary, and sometimes you can buy a wine that costs around 8000 yen for around 1500 yen...!
(The red price tag is the best place to look for)
And the wine is delicious!
Since I came all the way to Yeouido, I also went to Jinju Restaurant...!
I really wanted to eat the kongguksu here! ! ! It was the most rich and delicious kongguksu!
The wine and the oriyan shopping spree was heavy, so I took a taxi back to the hotel! I think it was around 1300 yen? ? ? (Super cheap)
[Convenient Chungmi Station]
To get to the hotel, take exit 2, but if you take exit 3, you'll find an E-Mart in the basement🫶
You can get souvenirs here!
Also, there's JAJU, which I love~👕
I thought JAJU was just a rip-off of MUJI😂 (sorry)
The clothes are quite stylish, and even I, a chubby guy, can wear their L size, so I'm grateful~!
There are many chain cafes around the station, and it feels like a residential area with most things you need?
There aren't many tourists, so I recommend hotels where you can stay as if you were living there!
[Summary]
-A little walk from the station.
-Local feel ◎
-For Korea experts who only go to the same places, it's a chance to make new discoveries and visit tourist spots you don't usually go to!
-A beautiful hotel, but cheap! (Around 10,000 yen per night)
