It was my lucky day to chance upon this local market. I also happened to be wearing slippers because the ground was muddy after the rain. There were many food stalls and you can buy food easily with a few English words. The food sellers do not speak much English as they cater to mostly locals. I managed to buy a few items and brought them back to my hotel room. After I spoke with the hotel staff, they said this market catered to the locals and it was my luck to have found them. The food here are so much cheaper. This market is along on Kamala beach. You can ask around for directions. #myperfectstaycation #thailand

Drawback: A bit far, recommended for a one-day trip. ✅Kamala Beach Once a quiet fishing village, it is still relatively primitive now. If Dongba Beach is like Sanya Bay, then here is a bit like Dadonghai, at least there won't be too many people. ℹ️Tip It takes about 10-15 minutes by taxi or TUK-TUK to get to Patong Beach, and there are many scenic hotels on the beach. Consider staying here. ✅Karen Beach The water in Shimei is blue, and the coastline is so long, just like Yalong Bay in Sanya. The sand is finer and feels comfortable to walk on. Kamala beach is one of the quieter beach in Phuket. Nice sandy beach with lots of sunbeds for you to rent to enjoy on. With water sports services available too. There are also tuktuk services along the road, so getting back to your hotel wouldn't be a problem. #phukettrip My fav beach in the area. Here you have everything next to the beach: massage, water sport, bars, smoothies, small shops and hotels. You don't even have to cross the road. The beach itself has this stunning view with lots of palm trees and transparent water without any rocks. Water is shallow quite far deep, safe for children. I have been to other beaches down the island. This one is just the one and only.
