I went to the Kumejima Sea Turtle Museum on Ojima Island in Kumejima!
Here, you can observe sea turtles, including green turtles, loggerhead turtles, and hawksbill turtles, swimming leisurely in a large aquarium up close. 🐢
There's also a tank filled with palm-sized baby turtles, so you'll definitely be captivated by their cuteness. ✨
The museum is also packed with panel exhibits and video corners that teach about sea turtle ecology and environmental issues, making it a fun experience for both adults and children.
Events like feeding experiences are held during summer vacation and Golden Week, so if you can make it, be sure to take part!
