There are two hoko, and the flying celestial figure on the leading hoko was beautiful! During the parade, they entertain the god of plague by swinging their sticks around, summoning evil spirits, warding off evil spirits with the sticks they swing around at high speed, and calming them with the sound of the drums 🥁. The Naginata Hoko is the first to parade❣️ During the parade, a messenger of the gods called Iki-Wako and two assistants called Kamuro ride on the Hoko🎶 During the Yoiyama period, you can enter the inside of the Hoko, but only men can.
