Lake Mashu is located in a lake in the Kawasaki-cho, Kawakami-gun, in the eastern part of Hokkaido, Japan. It is a volcanic lake and is the most transparent lake in Japan. It was listed as a Hokkaido heritage in 2001. When I went, it was cold, although the cold wind blew my whole person frozen, but it was amazing when I saw the quiet and sacred Lake Mashu.
