🐦 Tips for watching seagulls at the seaside:
Tianjin in winter is a paradise for seagulls and a paradise for seagull watching enthusiasts. Here are 3 recommended gull-watching spots for you to have a romantic encounter with these lovely elves.
-
1️⃣Tianjin Old Wharf Park
• Value for money: Free admission and free parking, it’s a “zero threshold” place to watch seagulls!
• Transportation Guide: Just navigate to the map. It takes only 10 minutes to walk from Tanggu Railway Station.
• Seagull size: 🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦 The number of seagulls here is astonishingly large, densely packed, covering the sky and the sun, the scene is quite shocking
• Special activities: Every day at 13:00, professional volunteers will give interesting science lectures, allowing you to enjoy the seagulls and gain knowledge at the same time. The feeding show will start on time at 13:30. At that time, seagulls flying all over the sky will compete for food. The scene is extremely spectacular. Don’t miss it!
• Tips for watching gulls: It is recommended to arrive early and queue up at 12:30 to occupy the best position in the first row on the south side. The viewing effect is first-class!

• Seagull size: 🐦🐦🐦🐦 There are a considerable number of seagulls here, enough to satisfy your desire to interact closely with the seagulls

3️⃣Tianjin Dongjiang Seaside Park
• Value for money: free admission, free parking, easy access to bird watching
• Transportation Guide: Directly navigate to the ferry, about 30 minutes drive from the ferry

‼ ️Warm Tips
1. The seaside is windy, so be sure to take warm measures, scarves, gloves, and hats are a must
2. You can prepare bread, ham and other food suitable for feeding seagulls. If you don’t prepare, they are also sold near the seagull watching area, ¥2/piece
3. Never feed the seagulls anything else to avoid indigestion or esophageal injury.
