#chinatravelitinerary I wanted to visit Chengdu since I was a little girl... now over 10 years later I finally made it! I only had one weekend to visit China, and now that visa is not needed for tourism purposes I decided to go even though it was a short time! I landed in Chengdu on Saturday at 6pm and took the metro to my hotel. I booked it near the Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street but I was too tired after travelling the whole day and only sleeping two hours the previous night so I couldn't go and just rested in my hotel room. In the morning I woke up and booked a DiDi (a taxi app like Uber) to take me to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. It was a really huge place and home to over 50 pandas! There is a bus that takes visitors around the base and I definitely recommend using them. 📍1375 Xiongmao Blvd, Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, 610016 After I finished my journey around the panda base and seeing all the cuties I took another DiDi to the Chengdu East Railway Station. From there I took a train to Chongqing West Railway Station and arrived in Chongqing around 5pm. After checking in at my hotel and resting for a little bit, I took the metro to Liziba station - the famous station you have seen in all the Chongqing reels on social media! Yes- the one with the train going through a residential building! I took some photos and videos and got really hungry so had a delicious bowl of noodles at a nearby restaurant. The lady there was so kind and made them less spicy for me. 📍No. 39, Liziba Zhengjie Street, Yuzhong District, Chongqing The final stop of the day was Hongyadong - an 11-story complex of stilt buildings that is lit up with many lights and looks especially breathtaking at night. Even though it was already after 9pm there were so many people and all the shops and stalls were still open. This place is so beautiful I definitely recommend visiting!
