It's OK, but it's still in the style of the Republic of China. My mother wants to see it. After all, it's the last king. Only two floors are open. There is no air conditioning in the surrounding exhibition halls. It's stuffy and hot. I suggest you go there to cool down. The place is in an alley. It's more convenient to take a taxi. |
Construction of Zhang Garden began in 1915 and was completed in 1916. It was a private residence built by Zhang Biao, the governor of Hunan and Hubei during the Qing Dynasty. It became famous because two influential figures in modern Chinese history had stayed there successively: one was the revolutionary pioneer Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and the other was the last emperor, Puyi. Only 54 days apart, two key figures of the Xinhai Revolution passed each other by. Zhang Garden witnessed the overthrow of the monarchy and the founding of the republic; witnessed the Japanese invasion of China and the anti-Japanese resistance of the military and civilians; witnessed the liberation of Tianjin; and witnessed the changes in China's modern history.

It’s immersive, and the cultural and creative content is also good. The arrangements of several sections of Tianjin's past are quite representative and well-connected, and there is also popular science in Tianjin dialect, the story of scrambled eggs with tomatoes, and fun entertainment. There will also be flash mobs on May Day. |
This is a peculiar house, a French-style building decorated with numerous ancient porcelains, white marble carvings, crystals, agates, and antiques. The walls of the Porcelain House are made up of hundreds of ancient porcelain vases from the Republic of China and the late Qing Dynasty. On the roof, a giant dragon made of ancient porcelain tiles hovers in the shape of the word "China". Behind the dragon is the Bird's Nest, the main stadium of the 2008 Olympic Games, made up of broken porcelain tiles. The whole building has five floors, and floors one to four are open to tourists. There are many precious ancient wooden furniture pieces on each floor, and the red walls are covered with porcelain tiles depicting calligraphy and paintings by famous people from ancient and modern times, both at home and abroad.

Visiting Experience of Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence. This time I came to Tianjin, I visited Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence. The overall experience was both surprising and regretful. I would like to share my feelings with you. Judging from the geographical location and architectural appearance of the attraction, Zhang Xueliang's former residence is located in a prosperous area of Tianjin, with very convenient transportation and complete surrounding supporting facilities. It is very convenient whether you travel by public transportation or by car. The building itself is very distinctive, combining the architectural style of the Republic of China with Western elements, with red walls, green tiles, carved beams and painted buildings. Just standing at the door, you can feel a heavy historical atmosphere, making you instantly travel back to that turbulent era. It is also very photogenic. It is one of Tianjin's most iconic tourist attractions. For tourists visiting Tianjin for the first time, it is worth a visit to experience the city's unique historical charm. Walking into the former residence, the exhibition hall displays General Zhang Xueliang’s life stories and life fragments through some old photos, old objects and scene restoration, allowing visitors to have a general understanding of his life trajectory. In particular, the restoration of some living scenes, such as the study and bedroom, is decorated more delicately, as if you can see the atmosphere of life here in the past. It still has a certain appeal to friends who are interested in the history of the Republic of China. However, it must be said that the display content inside the former residence is relatively limited, and the visiting area is not large. After the overall visit, it feels that the amount of information is not particularly rich, and it is difficult to gain an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of General Zhang Xueliang's life and that magnificent history. Compared with some similar celebrity residences, the display format here is a bit simple, not very interactive, and lacks some novel display methods, making it difficult for tourists to have an immersive experience. In terms of display content and experience value, it did not meet my expectations. Speaking of ticket prices, I think they are indeed a bit high. With such a scale of exhibition and quality of content, the cost performance is not high compared with the ticket price. For the same price, you can visit museums or attractions in Tianjin with richer content and a better experience. If the ticket price can be appropriately lowered, or the display content can be enriched and the display quality improved, I believe it will be more popular with tourists. In general, as a landmark attraction in Tianjin, Zhang Xueliang's former residence is worth visiting and taking photos due to its unique architecture and historical background. However, if you want to learn more about General Zhang Xueliang's life story and historical value, you may be disappointed. I hope that the scenic spot can be further optimised and improved in the future to bring a better travel experience to tourists. |

An interactive exhibition, but the things inside are not real; they are imitations. More people were going there on the morning of May Day. It is suggested that the content can be richer, or more explanations can be added to attract more children. |

The park has aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines and destroyers, especially the nuclear submarines, which are worth seeing and make you admire the hard work of the soldiers. When you come to Tianjin, you must visit the Italian-style street. It’s great for taking photos here, hehe. The beautiful scenery and ancient architectural style make you feel like you have travelled abroad. Haha, this place is very close to the Haihe River, Tianjin Eye and Golden Street, and the price-performance ratio is very high. There are many snacks and stylish restaurants here, which are quite good. |

I have heard of this attraction since I was a child. This time, my boyfriend and I drove here specifically when we went to Tianjin. It is quite interesting to walk around this scenic spot, eat and drink, and chat with parents. It is worth coming here to learn about Tianjin's traditional culture. |

This place not only provides tourists with the opportunity to enjoy crosstalk performances, but also allows people to feel the charm of traditional culture while tasting tea. It is an ideal place for family tourists and cultural lovers.

Wonderful crosstalk performance

Address: No. 5 Tongqingli Ancient Culture Street, Nankai District, Tianjin
Opening hours: 10:00-18:00
evaluate:
💺Environment The teahouse is on the 2nd floor and the venue is not accessible. We sat right in the middle of the front row and could even see the actors raising their eyebrows and shaking their legs! The small table can also hold tea cups and melon seeds. 228 yuan includes tickets for two people and melon seeds and tea. It's worth it~🎭The crosstalk show started at 19:30, and you couldn't enter before that time. The crosstalk started 15 minutes later and didn't end until 21:30. The traditional joke "Reading the Menu" has a very steady rhythm, and the running gags are like the rattling of a machine gun🔫; the impromptu jokes are all Tianjin jokes, such as the joke about "add more eggs to the pancake", which made the people in the front row laugh like geese😆. The bamboo clappers in the middle of the storytelling "Wu Song Fights the Tiger" are so exciting...🍵Service: If you buy tickets online, you can contact customer service to lock your seat in advance. The first row is too close and you have to look up a bit, so the second row might be the best. |

It is very convenient to buy tickets in advance and verify the QR code at the door when getting on the bus. There are a lot of people queuing, but there are also a lot of cars. It takes about half an hour to queue. The speed is very fast and you can see a lot in a hurry. There are tour guides to introduce each attraction. It is recommended to sit in the back, as many young ladies take selfies in the back row. |
