Desert Camp
#celebratewithtrip
We proceed to the desert camp by camel after sunset, about half an hour ride, we reach the camp through darkness.
Same as usual, a welcome drink is served, while we are waiting for the rooms. I asked one of the staff the name of the accommodation, he told me it is Luxury Oasis Camp located in the heart of the Desert of Merzouga, of the great and majestic Erg Chebbi. Our luggage is transferred by a 4X4 vehicle.
Premium Berber tent with a queen size bed, private bathroom and shower with low pressure not so hot water. There is a powerpoint for you to charge your phone, and Berber craftsmanship boxes and tables to place your things. Inside the tent there is a window, that you can open to let air come in, because it is not an air conditioner.
Dinner shared with others at the table of 8 or 9, after dinner, they will gather around the fire to play the traditional music.
You can wake up in the middle of the night to watch the galaxy in the dark, and sunrise in the morning. After that have your breakfast, and prepare to go back to the town of Merzouga.
一生人最少去一次沙漠
Just a quick note to say what a fabulous 12 day tour I found this to be.
If you want to learn about the culture and history of a country as well as seeing some spectacular scenery then this is for you. There is a lot of travelling involved and a few early morning departures but enough time for rest to compensate. Maybe a little more space in the mini-bus would have been nicer as the back 4 seats were a little cramped but there were plenty of breaks during the journeys to from Marrakech to Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Fes, Merzouga, Skoura, Tigzha, Ouarzazate, Essaouira and back to Marrakech.
Food was good and sometimes exceptional. All accommodation was acceptable and in some cases fantastic. This was my first holiday of this type and I will certainly try another - most likely with Fes.#境外遊
Sahara Golden Sand Merzouga !
Merzouga is a small village in southeastern Morocco, about 35 km (22 mi) southeast of Rissani, about 55 km (34 mi) from Erfoud, and about 50 km (31 mi) from the Algerian border.
The village is known for its proximity to Erg Chebbi, and it is for this reason that a part of the itineraries of many tourists visit Morocco.[1] It has been described as "a desert theme park", and the Erg Chebbi as "a wonderland of sand".[2] Merzouga has the largest natural underground body of water in Morocco

I can’t even put into words how much I loved the three days I spent in this little town in the Sahara Desert. Merzouga is situated near the Algerian border, and is the perfect base from which to experience the culture and beautiful landscapes of the Sahara. You’ll find a massive expanse of sand dunes here, making you feel like you’re worlds away from civilization. But in fact, Merzouga is fairly easy to access, and has plenty of accommodations to make it an easy add to your Morocco itinerary. Stay at least two nights in a luxury desert camp to get the full experience and to give yourself enough time to unwind. Don’t miss ATV riding around the dunes, a musical performance from the local Berbers, and dinner under the stars. #awesomepic

The best time to travel to Merzouga is from September to April. This time of the year the temperatures are more bearable although at night it can get chilly. In addition to soaring temperatures, there are often sand storms in the summer. These storms last from late spring to early fall, so we would not recommend going then.
Cost of a desert safari
A trip to the Merzouga desert can often become quite expensive if you don't do your research. We had a semi-private tour with excellent quality for $150per person, including two nights of camping in the desert, all the meals, two local guides, and camel trekking. So the prices can really be different from company to company and you shouldn’t rush to make a decision. You should weigh their options after some research. What we liked about our trip in the Merzouga desert
The thing we liked most:
Learning about the nomadic traditions from our guides who used to be nomads themselves
Our trip had a great value for money. We were really satisfied with the price of the trip. Our guides were amazing, the camps were comfortable with actual mattresses, and the food was delicious.
Camels were well-treated, settled and calm which is very important for us because a lot of the time camels used for tourists are treated badly and malnourished.
Another thing to remember is that Merzouga is the most famous desert destination in Morocco so can get crowded during the high season. This also leads to a lot of noise from the quads and dune buggies, especially during sunset. We didn't have that issue as much as we visited at the end of November. But it's definitely something to consider.

Merzouga Dunes Luxury Camps
Camps are unique and similar at the same time. The camp is located in the middle of nowhere in the desert and so as soon as you come closer to the camp, you would sense as though you are looking at a mirage because in the vastness of the desert, it is hard to believe you would find such a utopic place.
Merzouga Dunes Luxury Camps
The camp is set up in a way that reflects the beauty of the desert as well as the traditional nomadic culture of the region, located in a very sacred location known for nomads as the heart of the desert.
The camp offers all the luxury of your homes in such a remote place. With Merzouga Dunes Luxury Camps, you do experience what it is to be in the heart of the Sahara desert but at the same time, you can enjoy the comfort and quality same as in your homes.
Surrounded with the most beautiful ever-changing dunes, when you wake up here to the golden sunrise and go outside to the camp, you would feel as though you are in a 12th century tribal kingdom movie.

Morocco Sahara Desert Camel Ride
#celebratewithtrip
The Sahara is a desert on the African continent with an area of 9,200,000 square kilometers, it is the largest hot desert in the world and the third largest desert overall, smaller than the desert of Antarctica and the northern Arctic.
Merzouga, a gateway to the popular Erg Chebbi sand dunes, that can be up to 200 meters high, a landscape purely formed by the wind.
Along the ride, the guide will stop and take photos for you. They will also stop, and let you have activities like sliding from the top with a board, or viewing the sunset.
The best way to experience this breathtaking beautiful scenery is on the back of the camel. A fantastic experience which you will not forget so quickly.
Merzouga Town Tour
#celebratewithtrip
Merzouga is a small Moroccan town in the Sahara Desert, near the Algeria border about 50 kilometers. It is known as the gateway to Erg Chebbi, a huge expanse of sand dunes north of the town.
The guided tour will bring you to the palm trees field and gardens nearby, then to the waterpoint, where the locals fill the water from here.
The Morocco National 4X4 Auto Museum, a cool little museum. It exhibits some rare vehicles that I have never seen before, worth the visit.
Khamila Village is a black African from the Gnawa tribe, performing their traditional music in the room.
Then settle for lunch at a local guesthouse, and wait for my camel ride.

Experience Merzouga Golden sand desert
The Drâa Valley has always been strongly influenced by the surrounding nomadic tribes and has served as a stepping-stone for Saharan explorations since the 10th century. Experience the Sahara through an overnight stay in a nomad camp (check out those stars!) and a 2-hour camel trek into the desert
Morocco Golden Desert sands
Merzouga, Morocco, in a small village on the edge of the Sahara Desert, enjoys the Gwana Magic. Gnawa is the most influential folk music in North Africa, and the Nigers or Malians in the southern Sahara of West Africa are "psychic" or religious worship music. Music is part of the Sophie ritual, and the whole ritual is called "al-layla", and music can play a magical effect that causes hallucinations.
Drive away from the town of Evran in Morocco and head towards Mezuka. Its just that the autumn is not open for a long time, just! Look! To! snow! Now! The driver told me that I didn't believe it when I saw the snow soon, but it didn't take long before the snowy mountains, snow trails, and snow fields appeared.
From the deep golden autumn, I entered the winter. Morocco is amazing.
We screamed in the snow. After more than an hour of driving, the snow suddenly disappeared suddenly and suddenly as it first appeared. It turned into a brown Gobi, and returned to the summer brown brown house. The valley is a green palm, and we crossed several completely different landscapes in one day.
New Year's Day holiday If you come here, it is very convenient to follow this path!
Raiders: The Supratours bus company in Marrakech has a direct bus to Merzouga, which runs every day at 8
Today is a test for me, because I have to take a car for more than 9 hours to get to Merzouga. In fact, it took 14 hours to arrive in Merzouga, and Merzouga is famous. The Sahara desert.
Passing through the ancient Berber villages, passing through the miraculous oasis of the desert. The winding road on this road turned to the brain, and it was too early to eat breakfast in the morning. I felt that I was weak and fell down. I stopped at the roadside shop and bought a bunch of biscuits, chocolate and fruit. They are all sweets. If you eat one, you will never touch it. As a Hubei person, it is the best snack for the trip.
The house where the Berbers lived along the way, the Berbers are the minorities of North Africa. Also passing through the Atlas studio, the studio is located in Ouarzazate, if the area is the largest film studio in the world, how big, because it also includes the desert and mountains next to it.
This place has also filmed movies and TV series such as "The Game of Rights". Generally speaking, it takes half an hour to shoot, as if we have stayed for at least 40 minutes. If New Year's Day is here in the desert, it is also very special hahaha.
Merzouga is a desert town where most of the African blacks who moved from Sudan to the early days are the minorities of this North Africa. I like to visit their markets and have enthusiasm. The locals invited me to go to their home to be a guest, so that my inexplicable feeling is very close here.
The endless desert makes me feel very novel. Camels in the desert and goats in groups, all kinds of big tents make me curious about the life of this person, it should be fun.
Watching the sunrise here is a must for Morocco. The picture of a big fireball rising from the desert will not be forgotten for too long.
About riding a camel in the desert, there are many options for riding a camel here. You can rent it or go to the desert for the night. If you can find a good partner in the local area, it will be much cheaper. The camel is holding a camel and humming it. He should like the job very much. When riding a camel, it feels a little swaying. If it doesn't go well, there will be a sense of weightlessness. The
newspaper is usually a group of 3-5 people. The private group will take you to the basic route and will go to some local experiences. Some groups will also have a bonfire party and so on.
