Discovered a new Japanese dining spot in Jalan Imbi, KL. The ambiance is cozy, spacious and infused with a touch of zen, creating a delightful dining atmosphere. Oga specializes jn serving a variety of Japanese cuisines, ranging from main dishes to desserts. The dining experience is elevated by the comfortable and serene surroundings. One of particular highlight is their tiramisu, which has become my favourite. The tiramisu is a true indulgence that delicately melts in my mouth with heavenly bite, is a must try dessert for sweet tooth. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Japanese dishes or looking to explore new flavors, Oga is a dining spot that worth experience. #celebrateit This place has been marked on my google maps for a long time, but the menu was pricey (like 40% higher than even the higher-end cafe) so I was not super motivated to try it until my sister said she wanna check it out too. It turned out that most food items tasted fine. That is it. Nothing extraordinary, and in terms of ingredients/portion, it might even come short. I can imagine tourists from Europe/America, who don’t have much concern (if at all) over pricing, can enjoy the food here. But to locals, food of such quality can always be enjoyed somewhere else. And the service could not make it up either. Coz two of the main floor runners did not actually their own menu and did not speak much English at all. And there’s pricing error in the menu that nobody realises until I pointed out. But the ambience is nice, and it has four designated parking lots, which is a really convenient feat of restaurant in KL. That I appreciate a lot.

This cafe has a spacious interior and spacious, clean toilets that you wouldn't expect in Malaysia (even with a washlet and heated toilet seat). They have a full range of meals, including mentaiko pasta, salmon chazuke, and fried shrimp curry, and each one seems to be made very carefully. The mentaiko pasta was a little different from what I expected, as it was a thin noodle like somen, like capellini, but the mentaiko sauce and plump head-on shrimp exceeded my expectations! The salmon chazuke was also very good, with a large, plump, grilled salmon, and the tea with dashi went well with the rice! It was a bit pricey, but the result was satisfying. I went with friends, so we shared five different types of cake, and all of them were delicately made and were a hit! The tarts had a crispy crust, and each one had a raspberry-like jam as a secret ingredient! The cheesecake was small but rich, and it was great to eat with tea. It looked cute, and the taste made me want to eat it again! The staff were polite and the service was good. Overall, I was very satisfied with the cafe.
