Tokyo! OMO5, a small hotel under Hoshino, is a complete hotel
I came to Tokyo again three years later, and this time I stayed at Hoshinoya Hotel Tokyo Otsuka OMO5.
The location is super good, 100 meters from Otsuka Station. Otsuka is only one stop away from the bustling Ikebukuro, yet it is a quiet place in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The only remaining tram in Tokyo, the Toden Arakawa Line, runs through the quaint alleys, giving you a feeling of traveling through time.
OMO is Hoshino's main lifestyle urban resort hotel, allowing guests to explore and integrate into the surrounding community as a hotel. Its fashionable and friendly style is very popular among young people.
The numbers after 📒OMO represent different hotel types. OMO1 is a capsule hotel, OMO3 is a basic hotel, OMO5 is a select hotel, and OMO7 is a full-service hotel. Compared with the complicated name classification of some hotel brands, it is more intuitive and simple.
🏨The public space of Otsuka OMO5 is very design-conscious. The lobby on the 4th floor is simple in style, with wood tones as the main color. The restaurant, rest area, work area, etc. are naturally separated by exquisitely shaped furniture. The lighting and decorations create many small scenes with artistic conception. It is modern, comfortable and full of Zen, allowing guests to maintain a sense of relaxation. Breakfast is divided into Japanese and Western styles, which are simple but exquisite and ceremonial. Every night, the retro DJ night atmosphere is at its best, with vinyl records and flashing neon lights, taking you back to the 80s in a second.
🛏️My room is on the top floor, and through the narrow glass windows in the corridor I can see the Tokyo city skyline. The YAGURA room, designed with inspiration from traditional Japanese oars, maximizes the use of space. The loft bed is divided into two layers, the lower layer can be used for leisure and meeting guests, and the upper layer can be used for two people to rest without disturbing each other. Families with children will definitely like this. The wall is also designed with wood to create storage and decoration space, which saves space and adds a sense of design. Just outside the window is the Tokyo skyline, which is even more stunning at sunset.
🚶The huge GO KINJO Map in the hotel lobby marks interesting attractions and shops near OMO5. Follow the OMO staff and start an interesting citywalk
