Paris Palais de Tokyo showcases modern art to refresh the soul
The Palais de Tokyo is not in Tokyo but in Paris, between the 8th and 16th arrondissements. It is a contemporary art space that was renovated in the last century as a contrast to the booming contemporary art in Britain. The hall is full of people. It is a contemporary art museum, so the exhibitions are more interesting. I bought an annual pass for the Paris Museums, which gives me unlimited access to all the museums, and this is included. If you are interested in this type of museum, you can also visit the Paris Fashion Museum opposite.
Unlike other museums converted from palaces or private residences, it was only opened in 1937. The regular exhibitions are free all year round, and there are also many special exhibits. However, many exhibitions do not have any additional labels other than French, so there is only visual temptation alone, which triggers self-reflection and especially intuitive feelings.
In fact, in addition to exhibitions, many fashion shows and events are held here, just like the after-party of the Olympics.
