Go for the many michelin star hawkers in Bangkok where one of which is the polo fried chicken situated at 137/1-3 Sanam Khli Alley, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. This place has 2 outlets side by side, one air condition and the other is not. The non air condition restaurant is where all the chicken are fried freshly in the morning and its open as early as 7am and I do recommend to go early especially if you wanna find a parking spot around this area. The fried chicken is fried until the chicken is crispy yet the meat so tender and it is also sprinkled with fried garlic make it something unique. Don't forget to dip the chilli! Also, if you do want to try other stuff, I recommend to try the pork collar, the meat is so well seasoned and cook to perfection. #1月好去地方2025 This restaurant is located near Lumphini and can be reached by foot. You can turn in when you see 7-11 at the alley entrance. I chose to go there before meal time. I heard that there are a lot of people here during meal time. There is a display at the door of the store that they have received Michelin recommendations. They have received Michelin every year since 2018. The latest 2023 also has it. Thai fried chicken looks ordinary for some reason. But it is very delicious!!! It is delicious when eaten alone. #travellerswonderland Polo fried chicken restaurant in Bangkok has earned quite a reputation for its Thai fried chicken. This place is so famous that the dish has earned a michelin title for it. The restaurant is small but unpretentious, order their fried chicken and you will be blown away. It's crispy, it's flavourful and it's oh so good! There will crunchy fried garlic bits top of it, and the chicken was fried till golden brown on the inside but yet moist on the inside. Dip with some Thai chili sauce and it was perfect! Other thai dishes that we had at polo fried chicken restaurant was also exceptionally good. We love their Thai papaya salad, golden prawn cakes, and Thai glutinous rice sausages. This place is definitely a gem and I will be back again. Do try it!

Since I went to eat alone, I ordered half a fried chicken with garlic flakes, corn som tam (papaya salad), and zero cola. It was definitely fried chicken, but I was surprised that it was not greasy and light, and the fried coating was thin and savory, so it was really delicious. It was really clean and nice to eat som tam with fried chicken. If you go to Lumpini, be sure to visit Polo Fried Chicken 💙

#thingstodo Thai food is one of the main tourist attractions of Thailand. A trip to Bangkok would not be complete without trying popular food in Thailand. As Thailand is know for their food, it's not a surprise that many of their food is included in the Michelin Guide. One of them is Polo Fried Chicken. After our Mahanakhon Skywalk experience, we then went to Polo Fried Chicken. The chicken here is my favorite! I could eat a whole serving just by myself. They give generous amounts of fried garlic on top. The chicken is paired with the Maggi seasoning, yum! We also tried the Mango salad and a spicy pork soup. Although both tasted okay, the star really is the chicken. We had to wait for a while as the restaurant is full when we arrived, definitely worth the wait! very good fried chicken! the crispy bits are the highlight; a little salty but eat with rice and the taste will balance out. the curry fishcake is also fragrant. we arrived around 8am and we were the first customer 😄. there are 2 shops, one was closed but the local pointed us to the main one just few shops down the street. can try their other signature dishes if you go in a big group! Price per Person - SGD15 Rating - 10/10 This is definitely the best fried chicken ever. Eat this & you will forget about KFC. Polo Fried Chicken is an old name in Bangkok & has gain many award recognitions including Michelin. Their awards are displayed on the wall at the non-aircon side. There is an airconditioned seating just few steps away. The staff will guide you when you are there. Their signature fried chicken is crispy, tender & juicy. The chicken were all fried already & then given another fry when ordered. Serving with garlic bits is an added enhancement to the chicken itself. Eating it with sticky rice is really shiok! 👍 Their other dishes are delicious and portions are generous too. Especially the papaya salad. Totally no regrets coming here & will definitely go back again when I visit BKK. Getting there is not a problem too. Take MRT blue line to Lumphini and take exit 3.
