Qingyan Temple, also known as Yiwulü Mountain, is the most popular temple in Beizhen, which belongs to Jinzhou City. It is an important place in western Liaoning and even in the northeast. On important occasions, Qingyan Temple attracts a huge crowd, and many people go to offer incense on the first and fifteenth of each month. Along the way, there are many small animals 🐕, many stalls, and plenty of trash bins 🗑️. You can bring some food to rest along the way. There are a total of 1407 steps, symbolizing a lifetime of spiritual energy. Along the way, you will pass many small temples where you can get free incense 🆓, three sticks at most. You can also offer some incense money as a donation. Finally, you will reach the very famous 'Crooked Neck Old Mother' that people flock to. You can make three wishes there. I thought that after the May Day holiday, there would be no need to scramble for tickets, but I was completely wrong. The first train I took had no seats, and the second train was delayed by more than an hour. By the time I arrived at Goubangzi Station, it was already past eight in the evening (Qingyan Temple is located in Beizhen City of Jinzhou, so there's no need to go to Jinzhou Station, which is too far out of the way. It's better to get off directly at Goubangzi Station). After exiting the station, I looked for accommodation first. The hotels in front of the station are very cheap, with many costing only 20 yuan. The next morning, I went directly to the street outside the bus station, where there is a bus to Qingyan Temple (it's a yellow bus, the fare is five yuan, the same as before, and it's still cash only, so be prepared with cash in advance😓). I had breakfast at a roadside breakfast shop first, a steamed bun and a bowl of porridge, totaling four yuan (I didn't finish the steamed bun and packed half of it😁). I caught the earliest bus to Qingyan Temple at 6:50 am and arrived at around 7:30 am. I didn't rush to buy a ticket, but first checked in at the entrance of the scenic area and the surrounding area for a while🧐 After checking in at the entrance, I went to the nearby ticket office and bought a ticket for the scenic area, which costs fifty yuan. After entering the scenic area, to the right is a walking path, and to the left, there is a sightseeing car that you can take. It costs five yuan to go up to the mountain steps, but the mountain entrance that the sightseeing car reaches is different from the one I would reach if I walked up from the right🧐 On this walking path, there are things shaped like small birds, and there are three dinosaurs, each of a different species, and some with wings. I chose one of them to check in. I wonder if this one is the legendary Tyrannosaurus Rex😁

Below the Holy Water Hall, apart from the Dharma Hall, there is also a Dharma Protector Hall and a Ksitigarbha Hall, both of which are very beautiful. The Dharma Protector Hall is next to the Dharma Hall, while the Ksitigarbha Hall is opposite the Dharma Protector Hall. If I were to compare these two buildings, I would say I find the Dharma Protector Hall more attractive because I prefer the colors on its plaque and the patterns on the frame. It feels like more care was put into its creation🙇 At the same time, the wall pattern beneath the Holy Water Hall also features many figures which I cannot recognize. It seems like there are many mountains in the painting, and also the sun above it🌞. In any case, this landscape scroll is truly beautiful🧐 After checking in at all the buildings below, I followed the steps up to the Holy Water Hall. Below the hall's sign, there is another sign for 'Merciful Ferrying Across'. Inside, there are several statues of Guanyin. After checking in here, the entire tour of the Holy Water Courtyard was complete. To continue climbing the mountain, one must go around the right side of 'Merciful Ferrying Across' (as the left path is closed due to construction). Looking at this beautiful stairway, I know that from now on, the real mountain climbing begins🚶

The mountain is not necessarily high; it's the presence of immortals that brings it to life. Qingyan Temple in Jinzhou is just such a place. I stayed overnight in Beizhen City and headed straight for Qingyan Temple the next morning. It takes about an hour to reach the destination from Beizhen. Revisiting Qingyan Temple, I arrived a bit early and still didn't see the lush greenery and blooming flowers; the weather in early April is still quite cold in the mountains. It was a sunny day, but the sun wasn't very strong, which was perfect for climbing. We took our time and slowly ascended, feeling our spirits lift as we looked out from the heights. However, the commercial atmosphere at Qingyan Temple is now very strong, with many people and various calls for donations echoing inside each hall, which has taken away the tranquility of cultivating Buddhism and self-discipline, causing an unwarranted sense of irritation. Summary: The scenery is truly beautiful, and it's said to be a very efficacious place. It's still worth spending 4-5 hours to visit. The ticket price is a bit high if purchased directly at the scenic area; you can save 20 yuan per ticket by buying them at the front desk of any hotel in Beizhen.

Qingyan Temple is located in the best place in the southern part of the Yiwu Mountain in Beining City. It is the most popular temple in the temple of Beining City, and it is also a Buddhist resort in western Liaoning and even the northeast. Qingyan Temple has two upper and lower courtyards. The natural scenery of Qingyan Temple is beautiful, the peaks of Luohan Mountain are stacked, the lovers are singularly shadowy, the two people are in contact with each other, the dragons drink the mist and the sky springs, the first line of the celestial stones see the sun, the T-shaped waterfalls fly like clouds. Mounted on the top of the mountain, the peak of the eagle eagle, looking around, the scenery is particularly charming.
