#Qinglan Guaijiu Valley Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Waterfalls in Raoping County!
It was worth visiting Qinglan Guaijiu Valley. The scenery is amazing. The waterfalls are great. I think if it has a lot of water it must be more beautiful. It's refreshing. Walking around is comfortable and if you're hungry you don't have to worry, restaurants are accessible. I recommend to eat first before exploring the valley. Entering this park, you have to pay 80 rmb per person. Well, it's a bit pricey I think it's probably because of the holiday. It is a good one to explore though. Getting there by car is more convenient. It has a parking lot so it is not troublesome. The parking fee is 10 rmb. It's not that much I think. We spent I think an hour or so.

Exploring Qinglan Weird Mortar Valley National Geological Park: A billion-year geological wonder
Guangdong's only national geological park - Qinglan Weird Mortar Valley, is a place with endless mystery and wonderful geological wonders. 150 million years ago, this was a vast ocean, but now it has become a billion-year geological natural wonder full of weird mortars, weird holes, and weird stone groups. This place is a treasure trove of geology and an excellent place for tourism and sightseeing.
🏔️Entering Qinglan Weird Mortar Valley is like entering another world. The 8-kilometer-long Weird Mortar Valley is home to tens of thousands of weird mortars with different shapes. These geological relics of the weird mortar group were confirmed by professors of the China Geological Institute to have been formed during the Quaternary Ice Age 2-3 million years ago. These ice mortars are very similar to the stone mortars used for rice pounding in the south, so locals call them ice mortars.
Qinglan Weird Mortar Valley is not only a geological park, but also the filming location of the Happy Twist movie 'Never Say Die' 😲 You can feel the fantasy and humor in the movie, and also appreciate the wonderful scenery created by nature.
Qinglan Weird Mortar Valley combines various geological phenomena such as volcanic rock landforms, granite landforms, and water erosion landforms, perfectly combined to form a comprehensive geological park with extremely high tourism, popular science education, and geoscience research value. Every inch of land here has accumulated billions of years of history and stories, and it is a masterpiece created by nature. ✅
If you don't know where to go on the weekend, this is definitely a good place for parent-child outings! Come here to explore the billion-year geological wonders and feel the magic of nature!
📍Raoping Qinglan Weird Mortar Valley National Geological Park
📍Junliao Village, Zhangxi Town, Raoping County, Chaozhou City
In the billion-year-old geological movement, nature has left the magical earth secret in the Qinglan Geopark in Raoping, Guangdong. Last year's National Day hot film "Shameful Iron Fist" location, I chose the Qinglan Geopark to shoot, flying down, next to the waterfall of Zhuyu splash, very suitable for late night practice.
