This is my second time in Kaohsiung, and I booked at Royal Fine Hotel — the same hotel I stayed at when I first went here in Kaohsiung. What I love about its location is how near it is to my favorite night market in Kaohsiung — Liouhe Night Market. It’s just a 5-10m walk and the location is also near MRT lines which makes it even more convenient. Extended hours on your check-out date is also prices reasonable, NTD200/hour so you can have more time to prepare to pack or get ready beyond the usual check-out time — before 11AM. They also offer a free luggage storage so you can explore hassle-free before the time you have to go to the airport. My husband and I went on a quick 3-day 2-night honeymoon trip. We had just planned to have an ordinary trip, so we chose this cheaper hotel. The basement lobby was nice, and there was a water bar where guests could make tea/milk tea. The room was pretty good, with a big bed, a small tea table and a small refrigerator next to the TV, and the toilet and bathroom were pretty good. The only drawback was that the shower head was a bit dirty. Since I am used to hugging a pillow when I sleep, I brought the oldest pillow at home to sleep with, and I hugged the hotel pillow when I slept. My husband said that he didn't sleep well because he was not used to the hotel pillow. The hotel is close to Qianjin Station, about a 7-minute walk away. On the way, there is a breakfast shop called Xinglongju that many people visit. It would be a bit difficult to walk directly to the hotel from Meili Station. A clean and Spacious hotel.ten minute walk ,near MRT Cianjin station. there are few buses from hotel to Gao hsiong train station . opposite the hotel there is a Yang Chun Noodle restaurant . very nice yummy price reasonable . #travel

It's about a 5-minute walk from the station and the staff are friendly. I got a room upgrade and stayed alone, but they gave me a family room so I could use it very spaciously, which was really nice. The bathroom was also spacious and very clean, and the water pressure was very strong. There was some noise from the hallway, but I didn't hear any noise between rooms. There are two large double beds, but the downside is that the mattresses are very thin and hard. It's a bit uncomfortable when sleeping or sitting. I was worried because there was a review saying that there was a sewer smell, but fortunately I didn't feel that at all. I booked the cheapest twin room through Trip.com and was assigned a quad room, so I'm satisfied.

This time, I stayed in a standard double room, which was very spacious with a modern design that looks upscale. The occupancy rate seems high, as there are always guests checking in at the lobby every time I pass by. The lobby has a snack bar offering coffee, milk tea, tea bags, orange juice, etc., and there is also a water dispenser for guests to use, which is very considerate. The hotel also provides cotton swabs, razors, and soap, which guests can take as needed. The hotel only provides one room card; if you need an additional card, a deposit of $200 is required.

This is not my first time here, but the hotel I stayed in this time was very friendly, clean and tidy. It is really worth it to stay in a hotel with super cheap prices when I come to Kaohsiung! I'll come again next time
