[Kusatsu Onsen ①] 3 recommended hot springs!
#DomesticTravelStrategy
It's a shame to live in Tokyo and not be able to go to Kusatsu Onsen yet.
You can enjoy it on the weekend, so why not go out casually?
Kusazu, where hot springs are gushing out all over the place, is enveloped in the smell of sulfur throughout the city. Some people love the unique smell, others hate it, but it's addictive🤭There are so many hot springs that you'll want to go on a hot spring hopping spree, so we'll introduce some of our recommended hot springs!
📍Sainokawara Park / Sainokawara Open-Air Bath
🕰️7:00-20:00
💰800 yen/person
Located a little away from the center of Kusatsu Onsen. If you go all the way through the park, you'll find the open-air bath. The river that flows along the way is also a hot spring! Steam rises from the river. There are also footbath spots everywhere.
The open-air bath is spacious and has a great sense of openness, so you can enjoy it in the middle of nature. When I went there in late January, it was -3 degrees and there was snow falling, which was very fantastic.
📍Shirahata no Yu
🕰️8:00-23:00
💰Free
It's right next to the Yubatake, and it's open until late, so it's perfect for a hot spring bath. It was very hot at 47 degrees (or more?), so I struggled for about 10 minutes to get in 🤣 My body warmed up in an instant. I remember going back to the hotel thinking that I might not need clothes even though it was below freezing outside. It will be a great memory, so please come!
📍Goza no Yu
🕰️8:00-21:00
💰800 yen/person
Although it is indoors, the ceiling is high and it feels open. It is a relatively new building in Kusatsu Onsen, and it's nice to be able to take a break in the spacious tatami space.
The scent of the wood is also relaxing 🪵
