I booked my time slot from 6 to 7pm. Then I checked the sunset timing on the day and went to join the queue at 6.40pm. There was a crowd because each time, only 15 persons were allowed on Sky Helix. By the time I reached my turn, it was about 7pm and the sunset was at its golden hours. A safety briefing and a quick check on safety belts was performed before we started going up clockwise. You can bring your drinks and phones onto this ride. Each ticket comes with a drink or souvenir redemption. The staff will also assist you on photo-taking too. By 7pm, the whole Sentosa area has already lit up so you see an amazing illumination too. The Sentosa Line cable cars are running too and you get to be higher than the cable cars on Sky Helix. After the Sky Helix descended slowly, remember to go around the Imbiah Lookout area to take more photographs, It is definitely prettier at night with all the illumination.

I had the best staycation at The Barracks and planned it together with Sentosa attractions during my staycation. Let me share my experience with you. From Barracks, I walked to Imbiah Station and went up the slope and stairs or else you can take the Sentosa Line Cable car too. It was a fun workout and I saw some wild iguana too. My ticket came with either a drink or a souvenir. I can bring the drink up on the Sky Helix. Nobody else was taking the Sky Helix with me and so there were 6 staff with me on the Sky Helix. The staff also allowed me to use my phone while we were up in the air. They even offered to help me take photos too. It was definitely very nice of them. I did not feel any movements when the Sky Helix was ascending and descending. I enjoyed my views very much. I will try it out during sunset hours too.

#springitinerary Sentosa was definitely the highlight of my 3-day trip to Singapore! It was a perfect day of relaxation and fun. I even had the pleasure of spotting peacocks and baby peacocks casually strolling on the streets! 🦚 Apart from Universal Studios, I managed to experience almost every other attraction on the island. Here’s how you can enjoy your day: Getting There: Take the MRT to HarbourFront station, then head to the third floor of VivoCity to board the Sentosa Express (costs 4 SGD per person, no need for additional tickets after that). There are three stations on the island to explore. Station 1: Universal Studios (You can just take photos at the entrance without going in) / S.E.A. Aquarium Station 2: Cable Car / Skyhelix / Luge (Downhill Cart Ride): You can go up via the elevator at Imbiah Lookout, right next to Skyhelix. The luge is a lot of fun, with four different routes. I rode it four times – it’s great for kids too! Station 3: The Beach: After getting off, take the Beach Tram (make sure to queue up at the side by the wall).
