Upon arrival, each guest were given vouchers for a welcome drink as well as a sheet mask for your stay which was a surprise. Lovely gesture for guests to start pampering whilst in Korea. 🍴 Food Recommendations -McDonald’s: must try some of their limited Korean Editions! I tried the spicy prawn and beef burger and its was delicious! -local dumplings spot: offering katsu curries, dumplings and Gimbap -Korean bbq: a must eat when in Korea, great cuts of meats and vegetables to choose from -Korean fried chicken and a pint of beer! 📌 Tips: - make sure you have cash, as some vendors(especially street food) only take cash. - be prepared to spend hours shopping beauty and clothing with lots of luggage space -if you order a coffee to go, you must leave with your drink and not sit inside (even if you’re not drinking your takeout drink at the table) #travel #seoul #myeongdong

This hotel is located in the heart of the much talked about Myeongdong area. The big bear was a perfect photo spot. The hotel was new and clean, and the cypress bath was impressive. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of dishes and was highly recommended.

This time I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The hotel was Sotetsu Hotels the Splaisir Myeongdong. It's a Japanese hotel, and the front desk staff spoke Japanese and were open 24 hours a day, which was great. Behind the hotel was a delicious food street with lots of different shops, which was great. It was about a 10-minute walk from Seoul Station, and close to Myeongdong and Namdaemun Market, so it was in a great location. There was also a convenience store nearby, so it was very convenient, and it's a hotel I'd like to stay at again. Next time I visit Korea, I'd like to stay longer.
