#weekendgetaways 📍Sogo Grill, Straits Quay, Penang Had a delicious Korean barbeque restaurant at Straits Quay Penang. The restaurant is huge, with both indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor seatings, can fit other groups of visiting patrons. We chose the outdoor seatings as it was breezy and airy during our visit! The ambiance of the restaurant was great and chill, service was prompt and top tier. Food was served quickly with nice food presentation! We ordered their kimchi hot pot and grilled marinated chicken meat which were served hot and flavourful! Love it! Great place to hang around with family and friends for gatherings and for some kbbq! Would revisit for sure!

We're always on the lookout for great tacos, and boy have we found our new favorite spot! Presenting La Chica Mexican Grill, located at Straits Quay! If you want to sit overlooking the sea, just opt for the outdoor seating. It's a perfect place for gathering, whether it's with friends or family. Music isn't blaring too loudly, and you can definitely enjoy the sea breeze with your tacos too! We each ordered a beef brisket taco (RM14), and quenched our thirst with their special promo - 4 flavored margaritas at only RM60! Yum! The beef brisket was so tender and juicy, we ended up ordering another because one is just never enough. Definitely a must try for everyone! #hiddengems We were strolling along the marina when we chanced upon this oyster bar at Straits Quay. The executive set lunch was only RM 19.90++ for a 3 course meal and they had fresh oysters and a wide range of seafood to select from. All our orders were good and the seafood was fresh. Great atmosphere, lively and happening in the evening! It’s got both indoor and outdoor seatings. We chose outdoor seatings to enjoy the sea view, sea breeze and did some people watching, how fun! Service was great, friendly and attentive staff here! Great place to hang around while in Straits Quay, have some finger food, tapas and have a drink or two! Great and enjoyable night here, we love it! In 2024, I wish to travel to Seoul, Korea!

Such a perfect hang out spot in Penang as it’s got sea views, yachts, restaurants overlooking the sea along the promenade, quaint little mall. Spending the evening here, taking a stroll and enjoying the sea breeze was such a romantic and chilling activity we love it here! Besides, they have small cars, scooters for rent for kids as well! They have a lot of restaurants ranging from Pizza, to Chinese restaurant, Korean restaurant, bars, Mexican food, they literally have it all and this is such a good one stop for those deciding what to have for lunch or dinner! Anyways, 10/10 loving this place it’s got the views the food! In 2024, I wish to travel to Seoul!

Beautiful quay side with many luxury yacht, first thought was am I in Melbourne? haha You can enjoy the scene with many type of yacht. Chill at the bar restaurant with beer and enjoying the view.
