When I went to Kyoto during the maple leaf season, hotel prices skyrocketed. A room with a view at Park Hyatt Yasaka Tower was HKD25,000 a night... It was too expensive, so I finally chose this hotel. There were so many tourists at that time that even if we booked a month in advance, the tower view rooms were already fully booked. The hotel opened in 2020 and its facilities are relatively new. The view from the Lounge is great, with Yasaka Pagoda in the distance, but the view from the hotel's Bar is even better.
