Arriving early in the morning ☀️ just after sunrise, gave us the perfect lighting to capture the colorful 17th-century buildings reflecting off the canal. Without the usual crowds, we had the freedom to take amazing photos from different angles. The panoramic city views are especially stunning in the late morning when the sunlight ✨ enhances the red rooftops of the old town. 📍Købmagergade 52A, 1150 Copenhagen, Denmark We then visited Christiansborg Palace, which is not only a royal landmark but also a fantastic place for photography 📸 The Royal Reception Rooms and the grand halls are worth capturing, but our favorite spot was the tower. Around midday, the lighting is perfect for taking clear, sharp shots of the city skyline ✨ Plus, it’s free to visit the tower, so we highly recommend it 💯 📍Prins Jørgens Gård 1, 1218 Copenhagen, Denmark No trip to Copenhagen is complete without seeing The Little Mermaid 🧜♀️ statue. This charming theme park has been around since 1843. You can stroll around the park and skip rides but there’s an entrance fee for that. You can then pay per ride which might be a cheaper option if you only want to do a couple rides. Previously a Viking fishing village, Copenhagen became Denmark’s most important and popular capital city. Our very first day we visited the colourful harbour in the Nyhavn district, which is one of the city’s most photographed scenic spots, definitely you can’t missed this neighbourhood as it’s instantly recognisable for its vintage boats and rainbow coloured buildings with cafes, bars and restaurants. The day start with a lovely breakfast and freshly baked Danish pastries 🥮 by night cool nightlife in Vesterbro to the green and chic boulevards in Frederiksberg. Charming Østerbro should be added to bucket list for its parks and shopping. The vintage townhouses and picturesque canals are if you’re after, you’ll find many of them in Christianshavn – a district made up of a small cluster of islands. A few places you’ll love visiting and seeing whilst in Copenhagen are; Changing of the guard at Amalienborg Palace, taking a selfie in front of The Little Mermaid statue, boat canal tours and a day in historic Tivoli gardens. I have visited Tivoli Gardens twice this year and it’s wonderful just under the sun, especially spring time when flowers blooming. But what truly makes this historic attraction and unique unforgettable icon is its transformation when the sun sets.. In July 2022, a spontaneous trip to Copenhagen. As we all know, the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen, which accompanied us through childhood, originated here. In a moment of impulsiveness, I bought a ticket for the next day. I departed from Hamburg, Germany, not far from Denmark. Since I couldn't get a train ticket at such short notice, I bought a Flixbus ticket instead, which took about 5.5 hours. The fantasy begins here... Got on the bus, after two and a half hours of driving suddenly entered a pitch-black environment, and we all got off the bus. After getting off the bus with a bewildered look, I found myself on a huge ship ⛴️... with duty-free shops, dining, and more. Opening Google maps, I realized that I was floating on the sea. So, blowing in the sea breeze, I began to make a travel plan... 🌟Highlight features: 1. Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ A bronze sculpture based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Little Mermaid". Every tourist will go to the place to take photos. I think passing by, the surrounding lake and greenery are very beautiful. Address: Langelinie, 2100 København Ø, Denmark 2. Xingang Copenhagen is a place of charm, with many beer houses and restaurants. 3. Organ Church 💒 Suitable for taking photos, a bit far from the city center, about half an hour by bus. Address: På Bjerget 14B, 2400 København NV, Denmark Monday closed 4. Qu Fu Li Park 🎠 Disney's predecessor, it is recommended to spend at least half a day here. There are fireworks before closing at night. The fireworks are beautiful, but the music doesn't quite match. The park has a separate app that can be downloaded in advance. Location: Vesterbrogade 3, 1630 København V, Denmark 5. Changing of the guard ceremony of the Royal Danish Guard. Wearing a furry hat in the middle of summer is a bit ridiculous but interesting. The exchange ceremony in Sweden was simple and elegant. However, the grandiose parade with a marching band lasted for a couple of hours. At 12:00 noon every day, it is recommended to write early so that you can squeeze to the front of the crowd. Address: Amalienborg Palace (Danish Palace) 6. ❤️ My top recommended destination: Louisiana Museum of Modern Art Suitable for art and leisure companions. This is a place where art and nature blend together. It is also a must-visit spot for me on this trip. Two years ago, I saw an exhibition of Louisiana in Shanghai and have been thinking about it ever since. After visiting, it exceeded my already high expectations. It is located by the sea, and the art gallery leads directly to the ocean. After a tiring stroll, you can sit by the sea. Distance: Far from the city center, about one hour by Re train or 40 minutes by car. Located in the coastal area of northern Copenhagen. Duration: Suitable for a day of leisure, at least half a day. It is also very suitable for staying there for a weekend. Location: Gl Strandvej 13, 3050 Humlebæk, Denmark 🌟Restaurant: 1. Captain H Chinese BBQ & Korean Bistro Chinese barbecue! I was so moved because there is no barbecue in the city where I live. The price is on the high side. 2. The Olive Local internet-famous restaurant, it's best to make a reservation on their official website in advance. I made a reservation in advance, but because I met a friend from Denmark and decided to eat together at the last minute, there was no available seat to add. However, after negotiating and waiting, we finally got to eat. 🔒Tip: 1. After 10pm, all restaurants are closed!!! The open bars only serve drinks, there is no food available. ⁉️‼️‼️ This is an absolute trap. It took me five or six hours to get here on the first day, and the several restaurants I planned to go to were closed. When I started to settle for less, I found that all the restaurants were closed!! I walked for an hour or two and almost covered the entire city on the first night. 2. If traveling independently, all train tickets can be purchased on the Omio app. Subway and bus tickets can be purchased at subway or bus stations. 3. Many restaurants are closed on Sundays. Denmark has many Michelin restaurants with good value for money.

The Christmas market at Tivoli Gardens, located close to Copenhagen Central Station, is bustling even in the cold winter. Drink warm mulled wine, ride the rides, and when it gets dark, the lights come on and it's fantastic! From families with children to couples and solo travelers, this is one of Denmark's best Christmas markets, loved by all generations.

There is an amusement park called Tivoli Gardens right in front of Copenhagen Central Station. The admission fee is about 2000 yen, and you can easily get an online ticket on the day with the GetYourGuide app. You can also use the Copenhagen Card. There seemed to be a bit of a line to buy tickets. You can enjoy it until 11pm, and even though I was alone, I enjoyed a Halloween walk at night. There is a shop like a dwarf's house, and there are plenty of souvenirs. There are souvenirs that can only be purchased in Tivoli Gardens, and it is fun just to go around the souvenir shops. Since the statue is a little far away and nothing special, people who don't have enough time may consider not going there. Xingang is a tourist attraction that has been cut off. The houses on both sides are colorful and look nice even in casual photos, so you will see many people taking photos here.
