The most notable feature of Ushguli are the defensive tower houses( Svan tower) which were built primarily between the 9th and 12th centuries. Besides, The area is snow-covered for 6 months of the year, and often the road to Mestia is impassable. The uncle, the owner of the accommodation, contacted a car for us at a price of 70-80 GEL per person. The car will pick us up at 11.00 am. We returned to the accommodation around 3-4 pm.
