#MayTravelSupport I went to Yeosu. I bought and ate kkwabegi with a friend. It was really delicious because the outside was crispy and the inside was chewy. It was a small store near the sea, so it felt even more special because I ate it while feeling the sea breeze. After eating kkwabegi, I went to a nearby beach and swam. The sun was hot, but the cool sea water made me feel good. We played in the water, splashed each other with water, laughed, and chatted, and had a great time. It was an even more memorable day because I was with my friend for the first time in a long time.

#cherryblossom25 While on the cherry blossoms trail we ventured to Yeosu, located on the southern coast of South Korea en route to Busan. At Yeosu, we stayed at the Utop Marina Hotel located by the Expo which was a short hop away from the train station. The hotel is stylish and well maintained, and we were surprised by the spaciousness of their standard room which even came with a washing machine and a little kitchen area! Perhaps this is catering more to domestic tourists or folks on a longer stay, but I can imagine these features might come in handy for those travelling with young children as well. There is a vending machine in the lobby as well as a small convenience store too. The room layout was in a L shape, with a walkway leading to the restroom and then opening up to the bedroom and balcony. Our room overlooked the pool and the marina. The sea view of Yeosu was dreamy~~ There were a lot of places to eat nearby and there were convenient facilities on the first floor of the hotel, so it was nice^^ The bathroom, toilet, and powder room were clean and it was nice to have an open terrace.

It’s so convenient to book and travel by KTX using trip.com to book! Yeosu is a little seaside town. It’s very peaceful at night and we enjoyed exploring all the traditional markets to get our fix of seafood and freshly made kimchi and assorted gejang and banchan! The ppl are so warm and friendly in Yeosu! When we bought kimchi the ahjumma gave my son a banchan that’s not spicy… when I bought raw fish from a specialty shop the owners were so kind to let us in to see their fish tanks and also gave my son a cup noodles for children! We also got to see the black sand beach and saw elderly people collected seaweed. I have also booked the hotel using trip.com and everything went smoothly!
