Wat Pak Nam Jolo
Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo was originally a monastery in the late Ayutthaya period. In front of the temple, there is a canal flowing through and joining the Bang Pakong River. This area was the location of the Burmese army, both land and navy, who fought and were defeated by the army of King Taksin the Great. His Majesty therefore ordered the construction of a pagoda at this place as a memorial (but later, the pagoda was completely eroded by the water, so the Fine Arts Department rebuilt it at the same place). The name "Cho Lo" came from the fact that King Taksin the Great planned a war strategy to attack the Burmese army by sailing a boat downstream to show the Burmese army that he came alone, causing the Burmese army to let their guard down. Then, he ordered his soldiers to ambush and attack until they were victorious. It was later called "Chao Lo", but later it was distorted to "Cho Lo". The uniqueness of the temple is the golden chapel throughout the building. The roof is decorated with Naga serpents and Dharmachakra, and in the center is a pavilion with an umbrella-shaped top. The outer glass wall is decorated with the Dharmachakra pattern alternating with three-headed elephant lamps at intervals. Inside the chapel, there is the principal Buddha image, Luang Pho To, which is a replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat. In front of the principal Buddha image, there is the image of King Taksin, who is worshipped with a small golden tray instead of lighting incense sticks and candles. On the top of the chapel, there is a pavilion built to enshrine the Buddha's relics. Inside the chapel, stucco patterns are carved or molded to decorate the interior of the chapel, which is entirely gold like the exterior, instead of using murals.

Wat Pak Nam Jolo, Chachoengsao
🌼 Wat Pak Nam Jo Lo is one of the temples with a golden chapel. It is very beautiful. I would like to rank "Wat Pak Nam Jo Lo" as one of the temples in Chachoengsao Province that is worth paying homage to.
Atmosphere/Location
The temple is located on the banks of the Bang Pakong River. When you turn into the temple, the most outstanding and eye-catching thing is the "Golden Chapel". It is considered an extremely beautiful church.
In front of the church, there is a place to pay homage to the Buddha in the forest posture. You can crawl under the elephant's belly to bring good fortune to your life. When you enter the church, the atmosphere is very cool. There is also a candlelight procession under the church. It is very worthwhile to stop by for those who believe in the sacred.
And the area behind, I would like my friends to stop by to pay homage to
"King Taksin the Great Shrine", which is rumored that many people who have prayed and prayed have had their wishes fulfilled.
Summary and suggestions
- Those who believe in the sacred should not miss this at all. Save it to your list of temples worth visiting and worshiping.

Wat Pak Nam Jolo, a beautiful temple, bright gold color, grand and magnificent.
💥🙏📌Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo, a beautiful temple in Chachoengsao. Pay homage to the golden chapel, the only one in Thailand. 🙏Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo is located on the bank of the Bang Pakong River, Pak Nam Subdistrict, Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province. This temple was built in the late Ayutthaya period, about 200 years ago.
I've been there, but I don't know for sure when it was built. In the past, this area was the location of the Burmese army during the reign of King Taksin the Great. King Taksin was the winner, so he built a pagoda to serve as a memorial to the victory.
As for the name of the temple, the word Cho Lo comes from King Taksin's plan to attack the Burmese soldiers by sailing a boat along the river to make the Burmese soldiers believe that he came alone. Then he had his soldiers surround and attack again until he won. So he called it Chao Lo, but later the pronunciation changed to Cho Lo. Plus, this temple is located in the Pak Nam area, so it became the origin of the name Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo.
The uniqueness of this temple that cannot be ignored is the golden chapel. The only one in Thailand that is painted gold all over the building, both inside and outside the chapel is very beautiful and magnificent.
It is like a simulation of the image in the Daowadungsa heaven. The roof of the chapel is decorated with Naga and Dharmachakra. In the middle is a pavilion with an umbrella. The outer glass wall is decorated with Dharmachakra patterns alternating with three-headed elephant lamps.

Story..Thai temple
🛕🙏💥Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo #Bang Khla, Chachoengsao Province
A temple with a unique identity with a "whole golden church", the only one in Thailand.
Standing majestically on the banks of the Bang Pakong River, inside the chapel, there is a large Buddha image, Luang Pho To, which is a replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat. In front of the Buddha image is a statue of King Taksin. Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo, Bang Khla, Chachoengsao Province
In the past, Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo was the location of the Burmese army, which led land and navy troops to clash with the army of King Taksin. Later, he was victorious, so he ordered the construction of a pagoda as a memorial. It has now been renovated, maintaining the original foundation and repainted in the current gold color. 👍🏼🙏🏻
The name "Wat Cho Lo" 👉🏼 comes from King Taksin's plan to attack the Burmese soldiers by "sailing the boat along the river" to show the Burmese soldiers that he came alone and let the Burmese army be careless. Then he ambush the Burmese until he was victorious. And later it was called "Chao Lo" until it was distorted to Jo Lo. Another story is that this river is full of sea bass and the Chinese people call it "Jo Lo".

[Bangkok, Thailand] Recommended spots for your trip to Thailand
Thailand Trip Summary 🇹🇭
I spent a lot of time in Bangkok, so I'd like to summarize my favorite places and experiences ( ◠‿◠ )
⚠️ Many places in Thailand don't accept credit cards or don't accept credit cards for small amounts, so I recommend paying primarily with cash. ◎
📍Bangkok (BANGKOK)
1: Wat Paknam/Wat Arun
2: GOOD GOODS CENTRAL WORLD
3: AFTER YOU DESSERT CAFE/KRUA AROY-AROY
4: Khao Niao Ma Muang Mae Varee
5: SILOM THAI COOKING SCHOOL
✏️Details
1: Wat Paknam
Wat Paknam is famous for its emerald-colored pagoda and ceiling paintings. I thought the depiction of Buddha's life would age, but they all looked the same, lol.
Apparently, walking around it clockwise three times will grant your wish. ✨
1: Wat Arun
Wat Arun is also depicted on the Thai 10 baht coin. The mosaic decorations made from ceramic shards were beautiful!
I recommend viewing Wat Arun in the evening as the sun sets from the opposite bank. ◎
2: GOOD GOODS CENTRAL WORLD
If you're visiting Thailand for the first time and want a quick and cute souvenir and some delicious food, CENTRAL WORLD is the place to go!
Their miscellaneous goods are cute, and the food court is great.
The Siam area where CENTRAL WORLD is located is the best, with cute shops and local food. 🏃♀️
3: AFTER YOU DESSERT CAFE
Fluffy shaved ice with espuma cream and Thai tea flavor. 🍧 I also liked the mango sticky rice flavor! You can choose the size.
3: KRUA AROY-AROY
Khao soi is a coconut milk-based curry-flavored noodle dish!
The tender chicken and two types of noodles with different textures were delicious! 🍜
4: Khao Niao Mamuang Maewaree
A shop specializing in mango sticky rice. 🥭
Even if you're not a fan of mango sticky rice, I recommend coming here just for the mangoes.
5: SILOM THAI COOKING SCHOOL
A cooking class certified by the Thai government.
If you choose the morning class, you can start by shopping for ingredients at a local market. 🍅
We made five dishes, and it was so much fun, the time flew by! lol

Beautiful temple in Bang Kla, "Wat Pak Nam Jo Lo"
#TravelChat
Chachoengsao has many beautiful temples, and this one is truly stunning: Wat Pak Nam Jo Lo, located in Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province. It's actually close to the Standing Ganesha Park, so if you're here, you might as well visit both. The golden chapel is truly stunning. If you're driving through Bang Khla, you have to stop by. We arrived in the evening, and the parking lot was almost full. The temple's beauty is due to a new generation of monks who have helped develop the temple into a tourist attraction, attracting more visitors. (This monk is currently building Wat Phra Phutthapromyan, which is very popular in Chachoengsao and is also very beautiful. It's not 100% complete, but you can still visit it.) #ChachoengsaoTemples #BeautifulChachoengsaoTemples #BangKlaChachoengsao #ChachoengsaoCheckInPoints #ChachoengsaoTravel

One day trip to Chachoengsao
#Wat Pak Nam Jo Lo
This is an ancient temple that was originally a monastery since the late Ayutthaya period. It is also the point where King Taksin led his army to defeat the Burmese and won victory in the past.
The highlight here is the golden chapel, which is designed in a graceful and beautiful Thai style. People often come to worship and ask for blessings for good fortune.
#Wat Mongkol Thep
This is a temple that not many people know about. The highlight is the architecture of the Ananta Chakravartin Buddha statue. It is a large Buddha statue surrounded by more than 10,000 smaller Buddha statues, reflecting the concept of Ananta or endlessness. People often come to worship to ask for blessings of sustainability, stability, and endless wealth.
#Wat Pho Bang Khla
This is another ancient temple. It has been around since the Ayutthaya period and still has an old chapel that maintains its original form for visitors to see. Another highlight is that there are tens of thousands of flying foxes hanging upside down from almost every tree in the temple. We can see them during the day. Just go to the temple and look up at the treetops to see the wonder.
#Ganesha Park Standing Statue
This is the largest and most magnificent standing Ganesha park in Thailand. Many people often come to pray for success and will say that the fortune sticks here are very accurate. Many people have come to pray and have received their wishes.
Summary of the overall trip
🗓️ Travel planning: If anyone has a private car, it is recommended to use a private car because there are no public buses to reach various places or you can walk from the bus to get there. Or if anyone does not have a public bus, it is recommended to hire a tuk-tuk or taxi from the transport.
💞 Reason for recommendation: When we went to all four of these sacred places, we felt auspicious in life. Many questions that we often worry about when we arrived, we felt that we received peace and let go of our minds and also received encouragement.
🏖️ Environment / facilities: The weather is quite hot, according to the weather in Thailand. And as mentioned earlier, buses cannot reach these places.
📍 Address: Chachoengsao, Bang Kla
🕰️ b Opening hours: 08:00 - 09:00 hrs.
* Note: As for the temple, you can enter from 7 am.

This is another very beautiful temple in Chachoengsao Province. It's called Wat Pak Nam Jolo, which has a beautiful golden chapel. You can see it from the road or from the other side of the river, which is also very beautiful because this temple is next to the Bang Pakong River.
The temple is in Bang Khla District, about 30 km from Wat Luang Pho Sothon and the city of Paet Riew. It only takes half an hour to drive there. Another thing is that right now, Bang Khla has many good cafes and restaurants. It's worth visiting. The temple has an important history. It was the base of the Burmese army before being defeated by King Taksin the Great, who built the pagoda as a memorial. Inside the temple, there is a large principal Buddha image for worship and you can crawl under the base for good luck. This time
This time I joined a tour!
It was really good that they took me to tourist spots that are hard to get to on my own and I was able to get around efficiently👏
We gathered at 9am and left in a wagon like a Hiace🚌
First up was Wat Paknam🛕
The beautiful green pagoda and the ceiling have a beautiful cosmos painted on them😻
Around noon we arrived at the 100 Year Market.
It seems to be busy on weekends,
but it was a weekday so it was very quiet and many shops were closed🫠
After lunch at the 100 Year Market,
I went to Pink Ganesh We arrived at the mall❗️
We made a wish to the rats around us😻
They also took us to the Pink Ganesha that sits at the end❗️
This place is such a hidden gem that there were no tourists😳
We were excited to see the rare Ganesha🤩🎊
We returned to Bangkok around 5:30pm in the evening and disbanded at the famous night market, Jodhpur Fairs. We enjoyed shopping and eating at the beautiful night market before returning to the hotel!
If you go to Bangkok, try joining a tour!
