Wenling Jingqin Villa Sleep into the seaside stone house settlement in the middle of Shitang
Situated in Wenling Shitang Town, Jingqin Villa is backed by the green mountains, facing the vast East Sea, just 2.77 kilometers from Shitang Old Street, both avoiding the hustle and bustle and retaining a gentle distance from the fireworks. The bed and breakfast was converted from a century-old stone house, built against the mountain, retaining the original stone texture and the ancient charm of a fishing village. Pushing the windows in the early morning, the sea breeze blows, fishing boats dotted in the distance, colorful fishing villages spread like fairy tales nearby, a shot is a cinematic blockbuster.
The designer cleverly blends the roughness of the Fisherman’s Stone House with a contemporary minimalist aesthetic, with exposed stone walls, log furniture and warm yellow lighting intertwined to create a “wild luxury” atmosphere. The public area is highlighted by glass canyons and independent gardens, transparent floor-to-ceiling windows frame the mountains and seas into flowing paintings, the courtyard is lush with old trees and flowers, and the meandering stone steps hide the tea room and observation deck.
The bed and breakfast has more than a dozen rooms, each named after the "sea". Pushing open the carved wooden door, the original stone wall and linen artwork complement each other, and the oversized floor-to-ceiling windows introduce the blue sea and sky into the interior. Some rooms retain the chimney and timber beam structure of old stone houses, with smart toilets, underfloor heating, and high-end washing and care sets, where tradition and modernity collide for ultimate comfort. Some villas also feature spacious kitchens, grills and board rooms to cater to diverse needs.
■The restaurant at the bed and breakfast focuses on a fresh experience of "from the ocean to the table", sourcing crabs, yellow fish and crayfish delivered directly from the fishing port every early morning, and cooking authentic stone pond flavors by local chefs. You must try the signature "Relaxed Meatballs", which is wrapped in hand-beaten minced fish, which is tender and bouncy; there are also classic fishermen dishes such as "Home-Roasted Water" and "Ginger Sauce Eggs", served with a bowl of seafood casserole congee, which warms the stomach and heart.
When the morning light penetrates the mist and shines on the group of stone houses, sitting in front of the tea mat facing the sea, watching the fishing boats returning to the harbor draw silver tracks in the wave light
One—there is no hustle and bustle of the city here, just the thousand-year-old dialogue of the waves and stone walls. Quiet villas, with the temperature of a stone house, soften the hurried times.
