Wu Kai Sha Beach Address:
Ma On Shan, Hong Kong
Travel around Hong Kong by MTR | Ma On Shan Station | Take a walk along Wu Kai Sha Beach
It turns out I haven’t shared my trip to #WukaiSha in January.
Take the MTR #TuenMaLine and get off at #MaOnShanStation, then walk through the shopping mall and overpass to the starting point #MaOnShanPark.
Enjoy the view of #Pat Sin Leng as the sea and sky merge into one at the seaside promenade.
Walk along the seaside towards Wu Kai Sha.
Walk slowly to #Dutouwan Beach.
I discovered this sea by accident, I like both the waffles and the shrimp cakes very much.

Serene Sunset Views at Wu Kai Sha Beach
The sunset at Wu Kai Sha Beach in Ma On Shan is like a breathtaking, moving painting. As the sun slowly sets in the west, the sky is painted with gradients of orange and purple, and the sea shimmers with countless golden ripples, gently dancing with the waves. In the distance, the silhouette of Pat Sin Leng mountains and the returning boats create a poetic scene, as if time has paused in this moment.
On the beach, the silhouettes of couples leaning against each other and visitors wading in the shallow waves become the most tender embellishments of this enchanting view. Here, there is no city noise, only the gentle sound of the tide caressing your ears, composing a serene symphony with the glow of the setting sun. The sunset at Wu Kai Sha is not just a visual feast but also a soul-cleansing ritual, helping one forget the hustle and bustle of life and etching this moment forever in the heart.

Wu Kai Sha Beach: A Family Day by the Sea
Located on the outskirts of the bustling city, Wu Kai Sha Beach in Ma On Shan offers a tranquil escape with its unpretentious charm. While it lacks crystal-clear waters and powdery soft sand, its rugged pebbles and expansive mudflats at low tide create a rare, primitive coastal landscape in Hong Kong. As the sun sets, the rust-colored tidal flats reflect the vibrant hues of the sky, resembling a faded watercolor painting in serene blues, making one forget the chaos of urban life.
The most captivating feature is the simple stone path that stretches into the sea, resembling a trail leading to a hidden realm. During low tide, couples often stroll hand in hand along this path, their reflections shimmering in the shallow pools, creating a tender scene amidst the desolation. While not suitable for swimming, this spot is perfect for tide-watching, shell-collecting, or simply clearing your mind. If you're looking to escape the concrete jungle, Wu Kai Sha Beach, with its unique aesthetic of desolate beauty, promises a peaceful afternoon by the sea.

Recommend water activities in Hong Kong during summer vacation
Take Exit A of Wu Kai Sha Station and walk along the coast. You can rent a boat on the beach for half a day, enjoying the scenery while also getting some exercise. The price is very reasonable and will leave you with unforgettable memories.
