[2025 Wuyishan Attraction] Travel Guide for Wuyishan National Park Scenic Road No. 1 (Updated Jun)

If you travel to Wuyishan with the mindset of a special forces tourist, you'll waste this picturesque landscape. It's better to slow down and use Zen and tea to heal the fatigue of your daily life. This was my second trip to Wuyishan, and I arranged a 3-day, 2-night tour for myself. From the ancient Taoist temples to the Zen temples in the clouds, from the Jiuqu Stream to the tea field, I stayed in a room where I fell asleep to the mountain breeze and woke up to the misty Dawang Peak outside my window. I want to go back to this wonderful place again. 🚄 High-speed train to Nanping/Wuyishan North 👉🏻 From Nanping High-speed Railway Station, you can take the tram 🚠 for about 40 minutes to the South Gate of Wuyishan Scenic Area. ⏰8:20–20:00 🎫CNY 10 Day 1️⃣ Wuyi Palace → Song Street → Zhizhi Nunnery → Glass Water Fish Viewing Spot Zhizhi Nunnery is currently under renovation and is not open, but you can see its exterior. 🐟 Fish Viewing Spot 📌 Wuyi Palace Fish Viewing Spot. If it hasn't rained recently, the water is crystal clear. It's also a good spot to take a photo with the Jade Maiden Peak. It will be closed if the water level is high or during heavy rain. 🏨 Accommodation Guide You can choose to stay near Nanyuanling and Sangu Resort, which are convenient to the commercial street and the scenic area. This time, I chose the Wuyishan Jingju Resort Hotel, which has a mountain view room ⛰️ with floor-to-ceiling windows facing Dawang Peak. The Zen design incorporates bamboo weaving and rock tea elements. In the morning, I put on the Kung Fu uniform prepared in the room and practiced Baduanjin. In the evening, I watched the sunset at the rooftop bar, as if I were in a secluded paradise. 💗If you're tired, you can go to the hotel's fitness center to experience the "Aromatic Soothing SPA," singing bowl healing, and five-element cupping therapy. Take a component test for your health. We all need to take better care of ourselves.💗 🍵If you like traditional intangible cultural heritage, there are also traditional Chinese studies experiences such as Song Dynasty tea ceremony and incense ceremony. Day 2️⃣ Baiyun Zen Temple → Moon Bay → Xingcun Tea Field Many people go to Baiyun Zen Temple at 5am to watch the sunrise. In fact, the sea of clouds is more common in winter. Instead of being a special forces tourist to watch the sunrise, you can check in at the ancient mossy road and then go to the nearby Moon Bay and Xingcun to drink Da Hong Pao tea, which is also a less crowded and beautiful experience. 💡Tips: 🌟Currently, Wuyishan Scenic Area is still free of admission tickets until June, and the scenic shuttle bus is also free. 🌟Red mushroom stewed eggs, pepper and salt river prawns, and red-eye fish are all local specialties. 🌟Don't buy the CNY 9.9 Da Hong Pao ice cream, it tastes very different. 🌟Bamboo rafts need to be booked in advance during the peak season. You need to make an appointment and arrive at the bamboo raft center half an hour in advance. It is recommended to avoid sitting at noon, otherwise it will be very sunny. 🌟Moon Bay and Qinglong Great Waterfall are both located in the Wuyishan National Park No. 1 Scenic Road. The Xingcun Visitor Center has a free tour guide shuttle bus.

When the mountain mist brushes against your clothes, you'll realize that Wuyishan has turned romance into all four seasons. This impromptu trip with friends unexpectedly stumbled into this traditional Chinese painting🌿 On days with drizzling rain, what I thought would be a disappointment turned into unlocking new ways to have fun at the Qianlufu Hotel! A hearty workout at the gym and an intense game at the billiards room🎱. The moment I opened the room, the mountain view and tea plantations unfolded before my eyes. The misty tea fragrance mixed with the refreshing rain rushed in, and every shot I took was a blockbuster📸 The hotel is next to the super popular No. 1 Scenic Road, so you can drive straight into the mountains. The stream in Moon Bay reflects the sky and clouds, the mist from Qinglong Waterfall wets the corners of your clothes, and even your breath is filled with the sweetness of plants and trees🌊. On the way back, I took a detour to Yanzi Nest to see the tea plantations layered like waves, stealing a half-day of leisure. The most unforgettable thing is the Wuyishan flavor on the tip of my tongue! The chewy Zixi noodles are covered in a fresh and savory sauce, and the mellow taste of smoked goose spreads between my teeth🍜. After dinner, I snuggled up in the hotel, using toiletries with a light fragrance to wash away my fatigue, chatting with friends, and even time became soft. It turns out that traveling with friends doesn't have to be about chasing popular spots. Walking slowly and feeling the mountains, rivers, and everyday life of Wuyishan is the most pleasant time✨
