Changtianyang Wetland Park in Huzhou offers a blend of pastoral scenery and wetland landscapes
Changtianyang Wetland Park is located at the foot of Bianshan in the Taihu Lake National Tourism Resort in Huzhou, close to the South Taihu Lake. It is recognized by the World Tourism Organization as one of the wetland resources with the most development potential and tourist attraction.
The park showcases the rich aquatic vegetation of the rural countryside and the crisscrossing wetland landscape of Yang Port. In spring, cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, peach blossoms, pear blossoms, and tulips bloom in profusion, scattering petals everywhere; in summer, the fragrance of lotus flowers fills the air, accompanied by the chorus of frogs; in autumn, reed catkins flutter, and the colorful woods are as beautiful as the dawn; in winter, the atmosphere is serene and moist, with camphor trees covering the landscape like a canopy.
The names of various scenic spots in the park are full of poetry, such as Jindi Drunken Butterfly, Xitang Twilight, Ancient Boat Fisherman's Song, Smoke Cloud Dream Marsh, Early Spring Pear Snow, Xitang Twilight, etc. The creek in the middle of the park is named Yinghua Creek.
In the early spring, Changtianyang Wetland Park seems quiet and silent, but in reality, it is brimming with the stirrings of spring. Tulips sprout tender green shoots, plum blossoms nurture bright red buds, and reeds shoot up slender sprouts...
