[2025 Jinghong ] Travel Guide for Zipline Canopy Adventure (Updated May)

You must drive yourself when you go to Yunnan! I think it's really convenient to drive yourself when you travel to the Midwest. Each attraction is far away, and the most important thing is, the most beautiful scenery is on the road! This time I rented a car to drive to Yunnan. Because it was a whim, I was getting married and renovating at the same time (the special forces who set off immediately after the wedding), I didn't read the guide much, but it was because I didn't read the guide, I had a lot of unexpected gains. Self-driving is really the right choice. The 214 National Road is so beautiful. I was moved to tears by the magnificence and sanctity of the mountains and rivers. What's more, China's infrastructure is everywhere, there are signal towers on the mountains, what a big project! The Yunnan-Tibet Highway was actually completed in 1976. On the border of Tibet, if it wasn't for work, I really wanted to drive to Tibet with a foot on the gas pedal. This journey was really beautiful, I wanted to record the itinerary every day.

What a day it was! Just a short drive away from the city centre. Plenty of attractions! Mekong River World - very well designed with many infos in English about many species living in Chinese (and not only) waters (there is even a 7D cinema!). Later why not to watch a peacock show (they even fly), you can also feed them and take some photos. There is also some ethnic dancing show, nicely done; and a fountain show. And last but not least, my favourite activity there - the zip line! There is path A and B, I recommend the B, much more fun! It takes around 2 hours. Guides are very friendly and keep the safety as a priority. This park is a must go when you’re in Banna:) Have fun! #yunnantravel
