[Kyoto/Shimogyo Ward] A ramen shop serving only shellfish broth near Kyoto Station
🍜Kitada Shellfish Dashi Noodles
📍Kyoto Kyoto Station (8 minutes walk from JR Kyoto Station)
This time, I ordered
🥢Special Shellfish Dashi Noodles (1150 yen)
🍚Small Shellfish Shigureni Rice (150 yen)
️📝
There are three types of ramen: shellfish dashi, Chinese noodles, and clam ramen.
You can enjoy different soup stocks and noodles for each ramen!
Each type comes in normal, seasoned egg, and special,
and if you choose the special, you get twice the amount of seasoned egg and char siu (breast, belly, and loin)💗
The seasoned egg was rich and delicious,
so I recommend it🙆♀️
The shellfish dashi noodles are made with a broth made from boiled clams, clams, and scallops.
A large amount of scallops are added to this broth, making it a shellfish-only soup.
One bite and you'll be like, wow! Shellfish!
The shellfish flavor spreads throughout your mouth.
This is a must-try for shellfish lovers💗
I love shellfish ramen the most, so I loved the taste✨️
The noodles are smooth and flat.
They are so smooth that it's hard to scoop them up with chopsticks☺️
They are chewy and delicious when mixed with the soup💕
I also recommend yuzu pepper to change the flavor.
The clam shigureni rice has a lot of clams, and even though it's small, there are so many!
The shigureni is surprisingly light, and you can eat it as it is or with the soup🙆♀️
I had a sip of the clam ramen soup, which was also really delicious😋
I'll try the clams next time✨
✍️I arrived late at around 9pm, but there was always a line and it took about 45 minutes to get in.
You line up outside, buy a ticket when you're called, and then you can take a seat.
There are only 11 seats, 7 at the counter and 2 at 2 tables.
They open from 7am, so it's perfect for breakfast when you're staying nearby🙆♀️
