Our visit to these villages was a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region. The villages are nestled in the mountains and surrounded by lush greenery, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. We spent our time walking around the narrow streets and alleys, admiring the traditional houses and buildings made of wood and stone. One of the most impressive villages we visited was Tashi, known for its unique architecture and stunning scenery. The village is situated on a hillside and has a distinct layout, with buildings built into the slope of the hill. We also visited Gaojiabao, a village known for its traditional paper-making techniques that date back to the Ming Dynasty. Other notable villages include Nianbadu, known for its rice terraces and water-powered mills, and Wencheng, known for its impressive ancestral halls and temples. Overall, our visit to the traditional mountain villages around Songyang was a memorable experience that offered a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region. We highly recommend a visit to anyone interested in exploring the history and architecture of China's rural communities.

This travel is nothing but full of excitement! Everything is just so perfect, from the smooth transportation down to the nice weather we could ask for. The scenic area won't accept tourists after 4PM but we managed to get there 15 mins ahead of time😂. I could say it was just great since sun's not too bright, so pictures turned out to be so incredible. There are lots to play, if you're not afraid of heights then you'll enjoy this place for sure. Money and time well-spent. If I am ever in the area again, I will surely book a room at Stray birds hotel to get the full experience. The views and interior of the rooms are amazing. #staycation
