Valletta is home to some of the most architecturally-beautiful churches in Malta including St John’s Co-Cathedral which is host to some of Malta’s finest paintings. possibly Malta’s most famous church is St. John's Co-Cathedral, located in the centre of the city, just off Republic street. It was built by the Maltese architect Girolamo Cassar for the Knights of St John between 1573 and 1578. The cathedral is known for its stunning interior, typical of the high-Baroque period. The church is richly decorated with paintings, sculptures, and tapestries by famous artists such as Caravaggio and Mattia Preti. It also features eight chapels dedicated to the different Langues of the Order of St John.

It is called the United Nations Day, an exhibition to celebrate UN77 years anniversary and this colorful designed "Enlightened Universe" by Mr. Cristobal Gabarron entitled Colors of Hope, it was originally began in New York in the year 2015 and travel to different country every year from October to December to show the Unity of different countries. Parliament House and Courts of Justice in the capital of Malta are two important buildings, because they represent the legislative and judiciary branches of the nation. The former is the meeting place of the Parliament of Malta and this new building constructed between 2011 and 2015 is controversial because of the modern design and the high cost. Many have compared the cladding design to a cheese grater or a dovecote. I certainly do think it looks unique though. The Courts of Justice building does not look extraordinarily special as it is built in the neoclassical style in late 1960s. The hotel is located in the outer city of Valletta, the capital of Malta, and is a 3-minute walk from the old town. The hotel was built in 1930, but was destroyed during World War II and reopened in 1948. It was the first 5-star hotel in Malta. I tried all the hotel facilities, and I'll talk about them one by one. First is the outdoor infinity pool, which is probably the place I went to the most these days. The view is beautiful. Many people sunbathe here. When you arrive, just give your room number, and a staff member will take you to your seat, lay out your towel, and open your parasol. They have a great attitude and provide attentive service. To get to the pool, you need to pass through the hotel's private garden, which is large and can be used for barbecues and picnics. The Phoenicia Malta really shows the high standard of service of an old 5-star hotel, giving guests a home away from home feeling. According to the concierge, many guests stay for 2 or 3 weeks every time they come for a vacation. 5 days and 4 nights is really too short, and my friends didn't have enough fun. LHW hotels in Europe are still very competitive, and it's one of my favorite hotel brands.

The climate is dry, so even with an umbrella, it feels cool. The cafes in the city have parasols, and enjoying a cold drink and gelato at a terrace seat with the sea breeze is refreshing o(^▽^)o Take a look around various shops while sightseeing. The beautiful cityscape is a recommended place that you should see at least once in your life!

Despite being a beautiful and massive cathedral, there are hardly any people inside. And the entrance is free... Compared to the warm amber color of the streets of Valletta, my outfit today seems "flamboyant" and out of place in this city. Perhaps because of the shyness in my heart, I chose to hide in those quiet alleys. Almost every building here is made of a special soft limestone. This stone is as soft as mutton fat when underground, and craftsmen can carve it as they wish; these rocks gradually harden and become indestructible after being weathered by wind and rain, and thus the city was formed. Walking through these maze-like streets, every step is like turning the pages of a heavy history book. The alleys are filled with a faint old smell, the traces of time, mixed with the Mediterranean breeze and the taste of sea salt. The stones on the walls are mottled, but still stand tall, witnessing countless sunrises and sunsets, and bearing the joys and sorrows of countless people. Every corner seems to have a forgotten story waiting to be discovered; every stop, you can feel the whispers of history echoing in your ears. I wander through these narrow and winding alleys, like a poet searching for inspiration, trying to capture those beautiful moments that flash by. The laughter of children comes from behind a half-open wooden door, the bells of a Baroque church ring throughout the city, and the occasional old man on the street corner, whose eyes reveal a nostalgia for the past.

I even explored the quieter backstreets, discovering small local cafés where I warmed up with Maltese coffee (sweetened with spices like cloves!) and pastizzi, flaky pastries filled with ricotta or peas. One day, I hopped on a ferry to Gozo, Malta’s sister island, which felt even more tranquil and unspoiled. Wandering the countryside, I found myself at the awe-inspiring Citadel in Victoria, a fortress offering panoramic views of green valleys and turquoise waters. On the way back, I stopped by Marsalforn, a charming fishing village, for a lunch of fresh seafood right by the harbor. The coastal scenery was breathtaking. Dingli Cliffs was a highlight – standing at the edge of those towering cliffs, looking out over the endless blue, was unforgettable.
