🌸 Ultimate cherry blossoms guide in Seoul 🌸
Hopefully this post can convince you to visit Seoul to catch some cherry blossoms - you get to visit cute cafes (some even overlook the flowers), indulge in some retail therapy, and maybe even catch a glimpse of your favourite Kpop idol!
Here is a guide to the best spots to catch the cherry blossom, and capture your next Instagram display photo!
1. Gangchon Rail Park (4/5)
This scenic bike ride brings you across an overwater bridge, winding through barren trees, and this gorgeous line of pink cherry blossoms! A super scenic and romantic activity that you cannot miss!
2. Eden Cherry Blossom Road (6/5)
Located away from the main city, this road of cherry blossom tree doesn’t come with the usual crowds. You get plenty of space to stroll and admire the flowers, and take pictures. Will recommend booking this as part of a day tour to Nami Island if possible.
3. Nami Island (4/5)
Pro tip: Visit the island in the morning, before lunch if possible. At around 10am, you are among the first visitor of Nami Island - you will basically have the entire place to yourself to roam (like a private island!) and snap cherry blossoms pictures without anyone in it! When we left around 12noon the crowd really started to come in and the quiet atmosphere was gone.
4. Seokchon Lake (3/5)
The ring of cherry blossom looks beautiful from the top, but this place is PACKED during the weekends. You will basically be knocking shoulders with the public, but those visiting Lotte World should definitely check this lake out, since they are located in the same area.
5. Garden just off Hongjecheon Waterfall (10/5)
Just off the main centre of Hongdae is this serene man-made waterfall. Follow the dirt path, past running waters, and you will find this wonderful hill where tulips and cherry blossoms co-exist! We spotted mostly locals there - a great little hidden find that you won’t see in most cherry blossom guides!
6. Yeonnam-dong (3/5)
Make plans to visit this hip area for its numerous cute cafes, then stay to check out this line of cherry blossoms! Cafes like Margaret even has a balcony that overlooks the pink tree - great vibes while sipping on a cup of coffee.
7. Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival (4/5)
Probably the most famous viewing spot in Seoul - and it shows. The amount of people here is insane, but it also has the highest concentration of pink trees (in my opinion). After admiring the flowers, you can also pop by the Han River located just next to it and enjoy a bowl of cup noodles. Or sit and take in the city skyline.
8. Gyeongbokgung Palace (2/5)
You might probably be already visiting this must-see attraction in Seoul. And deep within the palatial ground lies a small line of cherry blossom; not the most impressive, but still worth checking out when you are dressed up in hanbok - makes for a perfect photo!

Aesthetic Mall 🤍
The newest and biggest mall in korea, Hyundai Seoul Mall in Yeouido. This is the prettiest mall I've ever step in. Every corner is instagram worthy with white base.
There's so many stores inside and each floor have their theme. The ground one is mostly sport/local brands like nike, adidas, converse, vans and a lot more. The also have another level that full with various of foods. So many expensive brands like gucci, dior, gentle monster and almost every brands are here in the same building. Its a shopping heaven, all you need to ready is money or you can just window shopping 🫠

The best place to have a picnic with friends!! The color of trees and Han river in Autumn are a perfect view to rest and take a photo.
Han River Starlight Cruise
Hangang River Starlight Cruise time starts at 9:00PM local time and it is a 50 minute ride. The wonderful night scenery of Han River in downtown is very pleasing to the eye. The cruise will pass under the Yeouido- Seogang bridge. A very great and unfogettable, worth it experience.
Hangang River Ferry Cruise is one of the best ways to enjoy the scenery around Hangang River that flows through Seoul. On the cruise, you can see the surrounding islands, Jeoldusan Park, the 63 City Building, N Seoul Tower, Jamsil’s Multi Sports Complex, and other famous tourist spots. The cruise is often used for weddings, birthday parties, music performances and other events. There are 3 places to get on or get off the ferries: at the Yeouido, Jamsil, and Ttukseom docks. All rides run on two kinds of cruise schedules.
