Hotel design is so raw, I love it. Staff has a friendly smile and gives all the information I need regarding restaurants, day tours, transportation. Hotel location is a short walk to 2 beaches.

Beautiful place, very beautiful beach, can swim, newly opened accommodation, many management still need to be improved, such as the amount of breakfast, drinks during long holidays are not enough for guests, the hotel tries to manage the situation well, but customers have to wait a bit. If you focus on a survival atmosphere, it is okay. Cleanliness is okay, bathroom, shower room should have shoes for customers to change into. The tent is cleaned every day and you can ask for new towels every day.

The best place to stay on vacation in Koh Chang. We've been here so many time and never want to stay anywhere else. KC have everything you need and all staff have service mind. The beach is very clean and no stone. They just renovated the new breakfast and restaurant area which is very nice.

We stayed in the hilltop rooms which were the worst on the resort. You had to walk up uneven and badly kept steps to get down to the rest of the resort. They were difficult to walk on with wet flip flops The water in the shower also had low water pressure. The beach and sea view villas looked amazing though, so try to book them if you can. The pool overlooked the sea which was a delight and the beach although small was cleaned regularly and you could always get a sunbed. Plenty of shade too.The breakfast was average and they supplied sandwiches between 3-5pm which was a nice touch. The food in the evening was below average as well as the cocktails. They wanted to close early so the restaurant was closed by 8.30 and the doors were shut. Service was Ok but we have had much better in previous hotels we have stayed in on this holiday.This wasn’t a problem for us because taxis were cheap and we go into town where there were enough restaurants to choose from. Try out the Art Studio Bar at the top of the hill.

A very perfect resort, the hotel is in an excellent location, I like the villa design and decoration style, the important thing is to pay attention to details and quality, of course, environmental protection considerations; the staff is very friendly, and introduces the hotel facilities to guests when checking in. The beach is also perfect, and I want to rest and enjoy the beach and sunshine every day; the holiday home has its own dedicated swimming pool, and the bedroom and bathroom are designed and decorated to make the guests comfortable; the SPA service provided by the hotel is more expensive, but it is also enjoyable. There is a desire to sleep in the soothing music, and the technicians have high professional skills; the breakfast is very good. It happened to encounter a free kayaking activity. Since it was the first time to experience this sport, I started to adapt a little, but I soon became proficient. The staff led in front and was very responsible. The experience of this process was very good; the breakfast dining environment was comfortable, and you could also enjoy the beach view while eating breakfast; after checking out, the hotel car and service staff sent you to the pier of the island. This is an excellent Centara Resort with great beach, very nice swimming pool and great, comfortable rooms, breakfast buffet is very good also

Very clean on arrival. Stayed 5 nights, but bedding never changed. Had to ask for new towels, bins to be emptied etc. Good breakfast. Staff very helpful when we asked for anything

We have spent 6 nights in Santhiya Tree Koh Chang, even though it's rainy season, we still LOVE it there! Design: we stay at the Pool Suite Water View, almost whole building made by carved wood, traditional Thai design and lots of character, looks very beautiful & classic. Staffs: very friendly and excellent service Pools: 60m long pool at the breakfast restaurant with some seats facing the pool & peaceful mountain view. Another pool right in front of the beach & close to the villas. Both pools clean & big. Santhiya Tree use pa kao ma thai sarong as beach towel, love it! Food: delicious buffet breakfast & lots of variety. Food & drinks at the Chantara Restaurant is high quality & very yummy. The duo who sings at the restaurant are brilliant singers, you won't get bored with their performance. Room: spacious & clean, lots of electric plugs & even beach bag for use. They burn lemongrass/ citronella oil in the bathroom to keep mozzies away & room smells good. Massage at their spa: very good & reasonable price, sound of the waves makes the massage so relaxing, must try. Shuttle bus to main street: every 2 hrs they can drop you or pick up from main street as there resort is not at the road side. Not sure if it's because of low season, hope the shuttle service can be more frequent. Thank you everybody at Santhiya Tree Koh Chang for the great service and smiles. Will definitely come back for another holiday and highly recommend if you're looking for a fantastic place to stay! This beautiful place takes your stress away :) P.S. there's a small part of the road right outside the resort leading to the entrance is unsealed with lots of potholes, pretty bumpy for cars and their shuttle bus, suggest Santhiya Tree do something with it.

We've been coming to this hotel since it was names the Sea View. The new management has done some great things, but hopefully they'll continue their improvements. The service is stellar, from the moment you walk through the door, to the time you leave, everyone is helpful, professional, and happy to help. The beach is clean, the area is quiet, and it's never crowded. Ideal for anyone looking for a calm place to read and relax. Every room faces the ocean, and the views are stunning. The two areas of improvement are: Renovating the rest of building B. It seems that the first floor has been renovated, but floors two and three are still the same ones like before. Improving the breakfast. The previous owners offered the best breakfast on the island. The current breakfast seems a bit quickly put together, not befitting a place like the Sylvan. In spite of these two things, we would stay there again and again. I hope this helps.

The hotel is of good standard. The rooms are well designed, comfortable to sleep in, clean, and the amenities in the rooms are new and of good quality.
