Decent spot for a bite in Windermere. The calzone was huge, honestly could have shared one between two of us. Coffee was fine. Good for watching the world go by.

Popped in for the early dinner. The monkfish was lovely, and they were really nice about letting us order it from that menu. Tables are a bit close together, but the staff were so friendly it didn't matter much.

Tried their Christmas set menu. For the price, the portions were generous and each course was well-prepared. Felt like a proper festive meal without the usual holiday markup.

The habanero sauce here is a game changer! Just the right amount of kick on my sandwich, and you can watch them make everything fresh. So good.

The rooms are huge and so comfy, spotless too. Loved waking up to that river view - felt like a proper little escape from the buzz downstairs. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with the girls.

Great for a quick bite. Burger was solid, and the staff were on it with my request. A bit of a wait when busy, but no biggie.

Parking was a breeze, which is always a plus. The food arrived promptly and piping hot. My only note is that the wine list felt a bit limited for the menu—a more thoughtful pairing selection would really complement those hearty dishes.

Good spot in the hotel. The steak was cooked just right. Decent portions, didn't leave hungry. Service was friendly. Solid meal.

Vegan pizza here. The base was surprisingly light and fluffy, which I really enjoyed. A solid plant-based option if you're in the mood for it.

Been coming here for years. The pizza is always fresh, and I appreciate that they use quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference in the tomato sauce. A solid choice when you want something simple and good.

The small plates menu is a real winner after their recent tweaks. The grilled octopus was spot on, and the burrata with heirloom tomatoes was super fresh. Perfect for sharing with a couple of friends.

Really liked the vibe for a catch-up with mates. The food and drinks menu is solid, and the portions are decent for what you pay. The free water fountain was a nice touch - saved us a few quid on bottled water!

Been coming here for years, and their gluten-free fish and chips are consistently spot on. Really appreciate the dedicated fryer.

The team here are genuinely lovely, even on a packed Friday night. They checked in without being overbearing, and sorted a small mix-up with my order quickly and with a smile. That kind of attentive but relaxed service really makes a difference.

Been coming here for years. The staff always remember my name and my usual order. That's what keeps me coming back.

The food was beautiful although the chefs were miserable this was more than made up for by the fact that our server Jacks was simply amazing she was happy, polite, and funny and her customer service skills were simply above and beyond!

The staff were so kind to fit us in for a birthday without a reservation. They even brought out our cake, which was a lovely touch.

Had a private do here. James and the team were brilliant, really on it. Kept popping over to make sure we were all good. The BBQ spread was generous, everyone got fed.

Really good value for money! The seafood was super fresh and the venison was cooked just right. Great spot for a catch-up with friends, we all left happy and full.

The carne asada tacos here are the real deal. Properly charred, juicy steak, fresh corn tortillas. The salsa verde has a nice kick, not just heat but flavour. Just what you want on a chilly night.

The beetroot and goat's cheese dish was a standout. Really enjoyed the vegetarian options here.

Been coming here for years. Steaks are always grilled just right. Quick, friendly service too. Never disappoints.

The goulash was spot on, with tender beef in a rich sauce. The house red they suggested was a perfect match.

Our first Michelin-starred meal was beautifully choreographed. The sommelier's wine pairing advice really made the evening.

As someone with a few food intolerances, it's rare to get a quick, tasty lunch that actually feels like a proper meal. No compromises here, just good food fast. Really appreciated that.

Quick lunch spot. Service is really friendly and fast, which is what I need on a break. They even helped out when I left my pen behind. Good for a quick bite.

The sticky rice with coconut was the standout. The rice was perfectly cooked, sticky but not mushy, and the coconut flavour was rich without being overly sweet. The prawns were also good, crispy and well-seasoned.

Quick lunch spot. Lasagne was tasty, service was fast. Good for a quick bite.

Nice spot to sit outside. The toffee fudge ice cream was the winner for me, really good flavour. Decent selection overall and the price for a scoop is fair.

The minted lamb pie here is packed with so much tender meat. The mint cuts through the richness nicely. Could eat this every day!
