The steak and sauce are superb. Their non-alcoholic options are thoughtful and pair well with the rich flavours.

Booked for a busy Monday, got seated fast. Menu's huge, portions are massive. Had the steak frites, cooked just right. Quick and solid for a weeknight dinner.

The food's the thing here. Had the grilled salmon, skin was crisp and the flesh just flaked apart. Good portion for the price. That's all I really go out for.

Been coming for years, and the fish and chips are always spot on. Perfect for a quick bite by the lake.

Perfect for a quick bite in town. Grabbed a vegan burger, came out fast. Good portion, hit the spot. Gets busy at lunch though, so maybe go a bit early.

Sunday roast is the move. The meat was so tender. Veggies sweet and juicy. Best Yorkshire pudding I’ve had, hands down. Staff were really friendly too. Solid spot.

Carbonara was spot on. Real Roman style, just eggs, pecorino, and guanciale. You can taste the quality in the ingredients. Simple and done right.

Been coming here for years. Jasmine’s always so friendly, remembers my usual order. Makes you feel like a regular even if you’ve only been in a few times. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Perfect spot for a catch-up with friends. The loose-leaf tea selection is huge, and the cakes are a nice treat. Plus, it's for a good cause, which is lovely.

The Sunday roast sharing board was a proper feast, easily fed three of us. Loved the crispy roast potatoes and the beef was spot on. Stuart and the team were really attentive. Good portion for the price.

Decent pint, lively vibe. The music was spot on, not too loud. Pool table's a nice touch for a casual night out. Staff were friendly and quick.

The beef pie was the star for me. Flaky pastry, rich filling, just spot on. Honestly the best I've had. The rest of the meal was nice, but that pie made the visit.

The sticky toffee pudding was a real highlight. Portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth.

Lovely spot with plenty of seating inside and out. The scones with jam and cream were a real treat.

Nice little spot tucked away at the back of the inn. The room is quiet, good for a proper sit-down meal. Felt like a bit of a treat, just what you want sometimes.

Had a small mishap on the nearby trail and popped in. The staff were really decent, helped sort things out. The coffee and a slice of their homemade cake hit the spot afterwards. Good people.

Grabbed a quick bite from here in Coniston. Food was tasty, no complaints. Staff were really pleasant even when they were rushed off their feet. Good for a fast lunch.

A decent spot to unwind. The beef stroganoff was pretty good, and the magic nacho starter was fun. Staff were friendly. The vibe is a bit quirky, but it works.

Stopped in for a quick lunch off the A6. The car park is a major plus, no hassle finding a spot. Food was decent, service was efficient. Good for a straightforward meal when you're on the road.

Been coming here for years. The bao buns are always spot on. Menu changes keep it from getting boring, though sometimes you miss an old favourite.

Been a few times now, always a good time. They've got those outdoor heaters and blankets, really makes a difference on a cool evening. Music's just right, not too loud. It's a nice, relaxed spot.

Destiny and Vida were so attentive. I really appreciated how they took the time to explain the sourcing of the local greens in my salad. It made the whole meal feel more considered. Just a lovely, welcoming touch.

The view is stunning, Swiss vibes for sure. Getting there was a bit of a challenge with the narrow roads, but honestly, it's worth the drive. We had a lovely afternoon just soaking it all in.

Popped in for lunch on a Monday. The soufflé was just as good as I remember. Light and airy, with that perfect, delicate crust. A lovely little treat.

A decent breakfast and coffee. Staff were helpful - I was a bit cold and the owner, Gemma, gave me a lift home. Nice that they’re dog-friendly too.

Lovely spot after a long walk in the North Pennines. They have a really good selection of local ales. The staff were friendly and the seating was comfortable, which was just what I needed.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The Greek-style rigatoni was spot on, just what I needed. Dog-friendly with outdoor seating, perfect for a fast bite. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Great location in Pooley Bridge, easy to get to from the main road. The on-site parking is a major plus, saved us a lot of hassle. Makes it a practical choice for a straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years. Their afternoon tea is a nice twist on the usual. The savoury bits are always spot on, and you definitely won't leave hungry.

Friday night vibes were spot on! The truffle pasta was a hit with the group, and the staff were so chill. A bit loud for deep chats, but perfect for catching up with mates. Will be back next time I'm by the lake.
