My go-to for a quick breakfast. The food is always solid, and I'm in and out fast. Perfect for a short lunch break.

The Baja fish tacos are really good. The fish itself was so fresh and juicy, the cornmeal batter gave it a nice crisp. I especially liked the pickled red cabbage, it added a bright, tangy crunch. The seasoned mayo tied it all together nicely.

Love the kitschy, old-school vibe here! It’s perfect for catching up with friends. All the fun signs and memorabilia give it that classic Santa Cruz beach town feel. So cozy and a great spot to hang out for a while.

The savory crepes are huge and stuffed! Tried the California and Santa Fe ones. Perfect for sharing with a friend, we couldn't finish them. So filling and tasty.

I still stop by for donuts when I'm in the area. The place hasn't changed much, which is nice.

The sweet crepes were the star for me. Light, with just the right amount of Nutella and banana. The rest of the menu looked solid, but that crepe was the perfect first try. Will be back for more of those!

Those super nachos are no joke—so much meat! The chips stayed light and crispy even under all that. The guac on the side was a nice touch. A solid spot for a casual bite.

I'm a big fan of their breakfast menu. The portion sizes are generous for the price, which is nice. I really appreciate that they use fresh, quality ingredients. You can tell with the eggs and the avocado. It makes for a satisfying and healthy start to the day.

Been here a few times for lunch. The fish taco is always solid. The fish is flaky and the batter is light, not greasy at all. The slaw has a nice crunch. It's just a good, reliable taco.

Pre-ordered a birthday cake here. Staff was super nice and paid attention to all the details. Pickup was quick and easy. Cake was light, airy, and not too sweet. Perfect for what I needed.

Love the vibe here. It's clean and bright, the booths are actually comfy. The donut holes with creme are a solid choice, not too sweet. Staff was nice.

Line moves fast, so that's good. Cash only, but they have an ATM. Got there early for the best options. Quick bite, in and out.

Portions are spot on. Veg omelette and sausage plate hit the mark.

The chicken and waffles are definitely popular here. I got mine with the syrup on the side, which was a good call—it let me adjust the sweetness just how I like it. The seating was a bit tight, but the server was really friendly and checked in without being overbearing.

The vegan scrambled tofu here is so good! A huge mug of hot chocolate to go with it was perfect.

Rosalba was so sweet, she brought out a little candle and balloon for my birthday breakfast. It was a really nice touch. The pancakes were fluffy, but the coffee was just okay.

The chocolate bear claws are the only reason I keep coming back. The rest of the pastries are just okay, sometimes a bit dry. But that bear claw? Always perfect. Flaky, not too sweet, and the chocolate filling is just right.

Staff is friendly and quick, food came out fast. It's a local favorite so it does get packed and loud at dinner time. Service didn't really slip though, which was nice.

Had my birthday party here. The owners were super nice and let us use their separate party space. It's a fun, retro spot that worked out well for our group.

The Avenue Omelet was my pick! The eggs were so fluffy, and I loved the combo of crispy bacon with the fresh spinach. They were cool about a couple of swaps I asked for. The hash browns on the side were just right—super crispy. Solid brunch spot.

Coffee was great. They had samples of brownies and cinnamon rolls out, which was a nice surprise. Grabbed one with my latte.

The lemongrass 'chicken' is the only thing I care about here. The flavor is spot on, really savory with that perfect hint of lemongrass. The texture was great, not dry at all. I'd come back just for that.

The Sunday brunch buffet has a huge spread. We sat on the patio, and the live mariachi band was a nice touch. Good deal for the variety.

Been a regular for their Caldo de Rez and tacos. Tried the shrimp cocktail and ceviche tostada last time. Honestly, the shrimp portion felt a bit small for the price. Still like the patio though.

The hot chocolate here is my go-to. The whipped cream on top has this unique, almost meringue-like texture that's really nice. My latte was smooth too. A solid spot for a warm drink.

Been coming here for years, and the fresh tortillas are still the best part. They're always warm and made right there.

The horchata French toast was a nice surprise. It's soft and fluffy but still has a light crunch. Not overly sweet, which I really liked. A solid brunch choice.

This place has such a cozy, homey vibe. I ended up spending a whole summer afternoon just hanging out at the lively bar area—it was the perfect spot for a relaxed drink.

Love the outdoor area here. It's a nice little spot to grab a sandwich and a coffee when the weather's good. The patio has a really relaxed vibe.
