Stopped by twice while in the area. Staff handled our toddler well, no fuss. Food was consistent both visits, which is what I care about. The view is a bonus. Service was quick enough even when busy. Decent spot if you're nearby and don't want to overthink it.

Lovely spot to just chill with a drink and watch the sea. Sunbeds were comfy and the staff kept things easy.

Came here on a busy night and honestly the drinks are priced right for what you get. Bartenders kept up even when it got packed, no complaints there. Place gets loud later but that's kind of the vibe. I'd stick around for another round if I didn't have to work the next day.

We basically came here every day on our trip 😅 the food was always fresh and tasty. They bring out free fruit and raki at the end, which is such a nice touch. Staff were super welcoming too. Only thing is it gets busy around dinner time, but honestly worth it.

The dolmadakia were so good, perfect for sharing with my friends. Moussaka was tasty too, just a bit lukewarm. 😊

Decent spot for a quick bite. Got the grilled chicken salad, plenty of fresh veggies. Prices are fair for the area. Place was quiet when I went, which I liked. Service was fine, nothing fancy.

Came for the grilled meat platter with friends. €12 each and we left stuffed. The portions are really big, so it's better to share. I liked that the meat was fresh, not frozen. Good spot if you're in the area and hungry.

The hot chocolate was decent and the price was fair. Right by the market, so super easy to grab one while walking around.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The staff were chatty and kept things light—made the whole visit feel easy. Coffee was decent, nothing fancy, but the view over the square is a nice touch. Prices are fair for what you get, though I wouldn’t say it’s a steal. Fine for a casual stop if you’re in the area.

Stopped by for a drink and honestly couldn’t leave—the view at the end of the beach is just too good. Waves were crashing right below us, we stayed way longer than planned. Service was friendly too, nothing fancy but that’s fine. Perfect little spot to hang with friends before the sun sets 🌅

Stopped by for a quick ice cream and ended up staying longer than planned. The pistachio flavor was spot on, creamy and not too sweet. Staff let me sample a couple before deciding, which I appreciated. Place was busy but not chaotic. Just wish they had more seating inside, had to wait a few minutes for a table.

Been coming here for a while now, and the Nana-Banana ice cream still gets me every time. Took some friends along, they tried other stuff and nobody complained. That's pretty much why I keep coming back. Place stays consistent, which is more than I can say for a lot of spots around here.

Specials board was solid. Fresh stuff, changes daily. Owner actually knows how to explain the dishes. Good wine pick too.

The rooster in tomato sauce was spot on—slow-cooked, rich, exactly what I wanted with a glass of red wine. Place feels genuinely local, not touristy. Maybe slightly quiet for a Saturday, but that worked fine for us.

Stopped here because it was right in the middle of Rethymno and easy to find. Grabbed a gyros and some souvlaki—both were really solid. Nothing fancy, just a simple street-side setup, but honestly that's part of the charm. The seating is pretty basic though, so don't expect to linger too long. Fine for a quick bite.

The view over the lake is killer, but honestly the food holds its own. Had the moussaka, really well seasoned. Staff were nice too.

Big portions, fresh stuff. Got the grilled octopus, pretty solid. Free dessert with raki at the end, nice touch. Price was fair for what you get. Place gets busy, but worth it.

The fava was the standout—so creamy and full of flavor. Had to wait a bit without a reservation, but the daily special made up for it. Heads up: bread isn't free.

Stopped by for a late lunch after the beach. Got the veggie plate and honestly the portion was bigger than I expected for the price. Could easily share if you're not starving. Dessert was good too, though I wish they had more than two options. Nice spot if you're in the area and want something filling without breaking the bank.

Stopped by a few times while in the area. Food was solid every single visit, no complaints there. The manager actually remembered us by the second time, which was a nice touch. Place has a good vibe too. Quick and easy, exactly what I needed for a lunch break.

Nice spot tucked off the main road, close enough to the beach. Food was solid and fairly priced. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy. No complaints.

The salad was fresh and the price felt fair, especially compared to other spots right on the beach. Menu is huge, almost too many options, but what we picked turned out fine. Cozy little place with a nice view. Would sit outside again if I could grab a good table.

Stopped by for breakfast, got the Greek breakfast. Yogurt with fruits and honey was the highlight, really fresh. Orange juice was solid too. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Nothing fancy, just good food. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The beef stifado here was the real deal. Big chunks of meat, super tender, rich sauce that soaked into the potatoes. Portion was huge too. Wish I'd found this place earlier instead of on the last night. Only had it once but that stew alone makes me want to come back.

Came in hungry, left completely stuffed. Got the grilled octopus and it was spot on, tender not rubbery. Portions are seriously big, could probably share one plate. Staff were nice, didn't rush us even though it was busy. Solid spot if you're in the area and want real Greek food without the tourist markup.

The rice had this subtle floral sweetness I wasn’t expecting—really nice. Chicken was tender, lamb fell apart easily. Portions were generous too.

The grilled lamb is still as good as the first time I came. Right on the beach, easy spot for lunch.

The feta with honey was really good — that salty-sweet combo worked perfectly. Platia salad had plenty of flavor too. But honestly, sitting outside by the creek was the highlight for me. The water sound just made everything feel calmer. Service was fine, not hovering or anything. Would come back just for that spot by the water.

The chicken with prunes really stood out—tender, slow-roasted, like something homemade. Tzatziki was fresh, maybe the best I’ve had around here. Prices are fair too, around 6-9 euros a plate. Nothing fancy, but the food feels honest. I’d go back just for that chicken again.

Came for the moussaka, honestly it didn’t disappoint. Sat on the terrace with the city wall right there, that view alone makes it worth stopping by. Place felt relaxed, no rush. Just a solid meal with a nice breeze. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area again.
