Found this cozy spot in a quiet neighborhood. The host was so friendly and attentive, which really made the evening feel relaxed. A lovely, unpretentious place for a quiet dinner.

Been coming here for years. The tonkotsu tantanmen is my go-to. That sesame broth is always so rich and spicy, just the way I like it. A solid bowl every single time.

The taiyaki shell was perfectly crisp, not soggy at all. Inside, the red bean paste was smooth and not too sweet. You can tell it's made fresh, one by one. The texture contrast is the whole point here.

The hotel pier is so convenient for the cormorant fishing boats. Their house sake was a nice, simple pairing for the evening.

The food here is surprisingly light for Chinese cuisine. I loved how the flavors were balanced and not at all greasy. Just felt nice and clean after the meal.

The Mont Blanc pudding was the highlight. Chestnut flavor was spot on, not artificial. Texture was smooth, just firm enough to hold its shape. A bit on the small side for the price, but I'd order it again.

The ticket machine system kept things moving, even on a busy night. Managed to grab a nice glass of wine at the bar while waiting.

The hitsumabushi set was a solid pick. Good portion of eel on the rice, and I liked trying the different ways to eat it. The eel roll included was a nice touch, had a good flavor to it.

Parking was easy, which is a plus. The tonkatsu lunch was decent - the pork was tender. The unlimited rice and miso soup is a nice touch. A solid option for a quick lunch.

Just stumbled upon this place and had to try the Matsusaka beef. For the price, the quality really surprised me. The marbling was beautiful and it just melted. A solid find!

Booked a month ahead for lunch. The old wooden house is nice. Staff explained the clam dishes clearly - appreciated that. Portions are modest for the price. Convenient for a business meeting near the station.

Dandelion ramen was a nice surprise. Light and refreshing gravy, perfect after a walk in the park. Got my order in under 10 minutes. Solid quick bite.

The Tenpu Ramen is a decent deal for 750 yen. The soup had a pretty good sweetness from the cabbage, and the thin noodles were fine. Adding a bit of the garlic soy sauce and chili miso from the counter made it better.

The pork cutlet curry bun is consistently good. Been coming for years and it's always that same satisfying size and flavor.

Quick lunch spot. Ordered the chicken katsu set. Came out fast, which I appreciate. The staff was nice, brought hot tea without asking. Tatami seating is cool for the vibe, but not the most comfy for a quick meal.

The octopus kamameshi had such fresh seafood. Loved finishing the rice with the broth.

Came here on a whim. Had to skip the clams, but the homemade sides really stood out. The pickles had a nice crunch, and the soup was warm and comforting. A solid meal.

The smash burgers here are really good, and a full meal is only about 1-2k yen. That's a solid deal for the quality you get. My only gripe is they close pretty early, so I had to rush a bit to make it before closing time.

I really enjoyed the counter seating here. Watching the chefs work in the open kitchen was so nice. You can see the fresh ingredients being handled with care. It felt very welcoming for a solo lunch. The focus on quality produce is clear.
