The pico de gallo was spot on. Fresh, crisp, and just the right amount of kick. For a simple side, it was a generous portion too. Felt like a good deal for what you pay.

Just popped in for a Sunday roast. The beef was spot on, and the Yorkshire pudding was massive. Really generous portions. Staff were dead friendly, made it a nice afternoon.

Quick lunch spot, good for dietary needs. My partner has Coeliac disease and they sorted a gluten-free option without any fuss. Food came out fast, which is what I need on a short break. Decent portion, kept us going.

Tried the fish and chips here, proper crispy batter and chunky chips. Ended up staying for the sticky toffee pudding, which was a nice surprise.

Kasia was so lovely and chatty at the bar. Really made our pre-flight drink in the departure lounge feel less rushed. A nice, calm little spot.

Been coming here for years, and the starters are always spot on. That's what keeps me coming back. Had the calamari again last week, still crispy and perfectly seasoned. Just a solid, reliable choice.

Found this spot for a Sunday roast with mates. The roast beef was spot on, and the sides were just right. Staff were so lovely, really made us feel welcome. A bit of a wait for the food, but worth it for a chilled Sunday catch-up.

Chicken burger was solid, fries were crisp. Stuart's service was efficient and he checked in at the right times. Good for a quick business lunch near the office.

Kenzie was a great server for our large group. Efficient, professional, and knew the menu well. He also shared some interesting facts about the building's history. The setting is cozy, though it got a bit loud when full.

Live music nights and the pub quiz are a lot of fun. Really adds to the relaxed, community vibe here.

Came in for a late Sunday lunch. The crispy chicken wings were spot on, and the steak was cooked just right. Our server Casey was lovely—really friendly and attentive, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and easy. A nice, comfortable spot for a quiet bite.

The cider press offers a cool vibe with nice beers on tap, definitely a great place for a bottomless brunch.

Nice to have a pool table and darts inside. The jukebox has some decent tunes. Good they allow dogs, makes it a relaxed spot. Prices for drinks are pretty standard for the area, nothing crazy.

The turkey was spot on, moist and flavourful. The sommelier’s suggestion for a medium-bodied Pinot Noir was a great call, really complemented the herbs. Made the whole festive spread feel just right. Good value for the occasion.

The team was so thoughtful about my allergies. They double-checked everything without me having to ask twice. Felt genuinely looked after, which isn't always the case. A really considerate touch.

Stumbled upon this spot. Loved that they welcomed our dog! Salads were tasty, nice relaxed vibe.

Free parking right in town centre, which is a lifesaver. The gate made it feel secure. Just popped in for a quick bite and didn't have to worry about the car at all.

The views down over the valley are beautiful. The service is friendly and we had 3 lovely meals - chicken pasta, ham, egg and chips and a burger followed by delicious puds. Best meal we've had in a long time and the dog had a warm welcome too!

I had a wonderful experience at The George, where the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly. The quiet atmosphere made it a perfect place to unwind after a long day.

The Sunday roast here is a generous portion, and the parsnips and carrots were lovely. Service was quick, which was nice. My only small note is that the seats are a bit hard for a long, relaxed meal.

Been here a few times. The Sunday roast is the best in Fishponds. The roast potatoes were crispy, the beef tender, and the cauliflower cheese had a good sharpness to it. That's what I come for.

The seitan-based veggie menu is a real find. Tried the seitan burger and it was spot on.

Lovely spot to stop after a walk in the Mendip Hills. The local beer selection was a nice find.

Been staying here for years. It's a handy spot for a quick stroll into town, which is why I keep coming back. The rooms are nicely done up, comfortable without being fussy. Managers are always helpful.
